amazing video! Your videos are helping me so much to plan my trip to Antalya next month. Could you also name the turkish breakfast restaurants you showed in this video? I would love to visit them.

Thanks for the video, very helpful! What is the app called for the green electric scooters in the video? I would like to download the app and sign up for an account before arriving in Antalya. Also, is that the only or main company to rent the scooters? Thanks in advance.
@@tiptopturkey thank u...im there in March..learned a lot from your vids... Do you kno if there is a public transport way to reach the Olympus teleferik cable cars with the beautiful scenery.im having problems finding public transport there..any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank again
Just got back from Antalya. It was the best trip we ever had. One thing for sure, you need to have a turkish sim there. Just don’t buy it in the airport. Crazy expensive. Water is almost free, so cheap. In terms of food we always spend 350 to 600tlr per meal for 2. If you’re intending to stay in Antalya city (we did in Kaleici), renting a car is not that necessary. Better book activities with free transport. Cheaper and hassle free. Thank you for your previous videos. We were prepared on what to expect. Keep up the great work! P.S. please improve the transition on your videos.
Glad our videos are helpful! Thank you for sharing your experience in Antalya with us. Regarding the transitions, we were late to post today because of them. We fixed them twice but we're having a problem with our laptop.
Hi, it is not manadotry, but it helps a lot to know the routes and check restaurants' reviews and places to visit. Even if you want to rent an electric scooter, you need connection for the app to work. At the end, it is a personal preference. 😊
Hello sir Nice collective video Thank you. Can you suggest any trustable taxi transfers from airport to side And any suggestion for day tour operators showing Antalya sightseeings. Thank you
Merhaba! What is the name and location of restaurant for breakfast in konyaalti at 8:18? Also can you suggest more affordable options for cafes and especially hotels in meltem and konyaalti? Thank you so much!
Merhaba, it is called Mado. There are a lot of restaurants there. Facing Antalya museum there are a lof of restaurants with a great view. You can also go inside Ataturk park, there are many nice restaurants. Enjoy your trip!
Hi, try to download "Antalya Kart" it is for the buses and tramways. One you are in Antalya, you can download the scooters apps and BiTaksi. Also you can press the yellow button that is found almost everywhere in Antalya for a taxi to pick you up from the location.
Thanks for the good video! we want to rent a scooter (which drive on the street and only with helmet). do you know how much it costs a day? are there many shops that rent such scooters? do you have any recommendations for cheap ones?
Hi, glad you liked it! If you mean motorcycles not the electrical scooters, I am not aware of any place to recommend, but I have seen some in Kaleiçi the (Old Town). Also, you can find some online. There are some electrical motorcycles where you can find and rent on the spot through the application, and they have helmets under the seat.
I am not sure since there is no driver in the tram to ask him as in the bus. Maybe you can enter and then give your card to the next person so he can scan it and enter.
I love watching vlogs. They are very informative! I am coming to visit Antalya in October god willing. I am a bit nervous and worried. You mention the taxi currency scams. Where is best to stay where good central location and close to tram buses too? Can you visit Antalya on a budget? Is october november a good time to visit?
Hi, don't worry. It is not something that happens frequently. We are only highlighting what could happen if someone is not aware. There are a lot of good taxis and always follow the meter. Lara, konyaalti and the Old Town are all accessible by buses. If you want to swim, November is not suitable.
@tiptopturkey Thanks for your reply. No I do not wish to swim. Just want to see the sights. Walk on the beach and spend some time to relax. Is October November weather cold or warm? Do the prices become reasonable as most tourists gone?
The weather is still warm. Expect some rain in November. The prices will be the same, but I think you can benefit from hotel prices and car rentals since it is not the high season anymore. Enjoy your trip!😊
@tiptopturkey thanks appreciated. Will it rain at the end of October or first week of November? Where is reasonable accommodation in terms of price? Kaleici Konyalti or Lara? Any hotel you recommend?
You're welcome! We don't know about this year but usually, there's no rain around this time and the weather is pleasant. As for hotels, we have no recommendations. Kaleiçi is between Konyaalti and Lara and it's the Old Town. So, it should be the best option. Also, you can find all budgets in the 3 areas.
Hi, Can you please make video about yearly rental apartments and estate agents details. Sahibinden is a good web site but real agents are more convincing.🌹🌹🌹🌹
Hi, I ran a simulation on the taxi app and it showed between 634-761 Turkish lira. You need around 39 mins. But this price could change anytime due to the inflation and fuel prices. Also, it is good if you check for transfer prices with your hotel.
@@tiptopturkey thank you and much appreciated, the most helpful channel and thorough insight covering a range of topics regarding the travel and tourism trade in Türkiye, love your work and content, very much underrated and will defo recommend to family and friends that visit Türkiye every year!!! Thank you
Hi there, thanks for this valuable information. can you suggest places to go with small children in konyaalti please? also are busisses sutable for buggies. thanks 😊
Hi, glad you liked it! Konyaalti Sahil which is beside konyaalti beach had nice green fields with children playground and games with nice restaurants to enjoy your time. Also, the dolphinarium and aquarium are beside it. Not far from this place around 10 mins by taxi you can reach Aktur Park with one of the biggest ferris wheels. There is a nice big zoo in Kepez around 25 to 30 mins ride. If you mean baby strollers by buggies, then yes, buses are suitable.
Brother can you update on the house rent and grocery prices nowadays, let it be on a monthly basis? Just wish to know the total monthly expenses for a couple in Antalya😊
Yes, it is very high for Turks and also high for foreigners. Nowadays, if you don't have private insurance, a doctor's appointment will cost you USD120 at some hospitals or clinics.
I love your videos i am currently in antalya and to be honest not very impressed i mean is my second day and ive felt pretty much like i was scammed everywhere i mean the prices u show that may be the prices for Turkish people but as soon as you start to talk English the prices are totally different example for 2 chicken shawarma with 2 Arian and a small bottle of coke ive paid 470tl where the price shown was 70tl for a chicken shawarma i mean i don't think a bottle of small coke and 2 Arian will cost 330tl taxi from antalya airport to murat pasha in antalya 550tl beef caserole 500tl i had a very basic stake and beef caserole + 1 efes beer and 2 mojito cocktails cost me 2.300tl that's 68gbp more expensive than ul where the same sirloin stake + any beer in ul ifnu go to Wetherspoon will cost you around 12£ just to say that it wasn't any luxurious restaurant and nothing fancy antalya may be good if you're local but if you're tourist my advice is to stay away but anyway i love your videos very informative keep up u doing great job i wish that the prices for the tourists to be same so far Turkey was more expensive than uk for me supermarket's yeah more cheaper anything else is more expensive as bazar for example there is no tag pricing i mean the Donner i had tonight the guy brought me a receipt written by hand looking lile a sticky notepad aww almost forgot for 2 regular simit just with sesame and 1 airan 48 tl and 50gb of data sim the guy from the shop said 1000tl then later another girl in same shop said 950tl for the same sim card🤯
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We are glad you like our videos 😊 Sorry to hear that your stay in Antalya hasn't been good so far. You are absolutely right regarding some prices being above European prices, which is unacceptable and indeed when you pay a lot you expect good quality which is unfortunately not available everywhere in Antalya. We recommend that you always check reviews online. Also, check menus and prices of all items before ordering so that you calculate how much approximately you should be paying. Regarding taxi price from the airport to Muratpaşa, the price is fair if you went by the meter. The fuel price has gone up to 41 TL/litre. Also note that all beef dishes are very expensive in Turkey, almost double chicken prices. Regarding SIM cards, when we were filming a video, the same thing happened to us. We got different prices at different branches. Unfortunately, many take advantage of tourists as if they make easy money. If you would like, let us know the areas you'll be visiting, maybe we can recommend some restaurants.
Thank you enjoying the video I appreciate if you can help How much would you think it cost to pay taxi ride from Antalya airport to side I understand it depends on traffic But a rough idea so I don’t get scammed Thanks
Hi, glad you liked our videos! As per Bitaksi app, it is between 1255 and 1506 TL. Take into consideration your exact destination might differ and the governement has increased 6 Turkish Lira tax on the fuel liter.
Hi, some restaurants might do so by taking advantage of tourists, but there are still plenty of honest restaurants and the best thing is to check google reviews before entering a restaurant.
You're welcome! I meant bring your Pounds to Turkey and exchange in Turkey. Just before coming, if you want exchange some Pounds around 50 to 100 Pounds into Turkish Lira in the UK.
