Do you know that many of the hymns and chants of the priests are derived from Armenia's pre-Christian, Zoroastrian heritage? They're much, much older than anything Christian, though they got some refinement and Byzantine echoes along the way.

Thank you for posting this! I had this in cassette form exactly, but my cassette riped and I lost this recording. I was lucky to transfer it to computer at one point, but it hissed noise came out of it. I thought I forever lost that recording until I find it here. This is miraculous and I am forever grateful in hearing this posting. One big difference is that in my cassette version, Karekin I gave a sermon. I dont hear that in this version. Would the poster of this have that version? Do you know where this was copied from? My cassette was also a copy, where the origin is from I didnt know. Please let me know! Appreciate it!

We Armenian, Greek, Indian and Persian are friends and have a history of at least 3500 years! We are now in year 2023 and we still survived till this day besides having wars, colonizations, foreign influences, political divides and religion changes.
