The Labor governments in general should have won the Nobel prize for being experts in driving up costs at the production end which will always be passed on to the consumer. This tactic is use to hide the fact that Labor is driving up prices throughout the economy fueling inflation while also increasing taxes wherever possible. Another nasty habit for in relation to utility providers and insurance companies is to inflate the fixed cost of a service irrespective of consumption. This way the consumer gets ripped off on having access to a service but the focus on consumption is less. These are all tactics that governments and utilities use to rip off the middle-class whenever possible and this is one of the main reasons why the economy is declining, why the cost of living is getting beyond affordability and why the inflation is stuck.
