I agree with the PM. Australians can pronounce "Fish and Chips" correctly. But NZ can very successfully lanuch satellites into orbit on home build rockets like firecrackers on cracker night of old.

He could have said something like: "We would also appreciate you Kiwis using ENGLISH when you try to pronounce the names of Australian cities correctly. For example, it is pronounced Mel-BIN and not Mel-BORN, with the capital of the state of Victoria. I have used simple and clear English for you Kiwis here.
