The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back in Game 3 with a 127-97 win over the Golden State Warriors to take a 2-1 series lead. Anthony Davis also bounced back, finishing with 25 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks and three steals. LeBron James and D'Angelo Russell scored 21 points each. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe decide whether the purple and gold have seized the series or not.

I think lebrons usage rate also comes down to how the other players operate best. They can all hit threes at an ok rate but D'Angelo works best with the ball, reeves is great when he can dribble down othe court and do more than just sit in the corner for a 3, hachi likes a dribble or two before an iso move. Ad can hit jumpers from anywhere but he still likes being the first option in a pick and roll.

Finally they played Lonnie Walker and it impacted the game positively. He can easily keep up with Curry on D and he has very good offense! Thank you Bumpy!! I love the fact that FINALLY Lebron can relax during the game because there are ball handlers and the rest of the team is stepping up!

So based off AD’s previous round it’s likely AD drops around 12/9 with 1 or 2 blocks. Hopefully if he does feel like scoring but it’s unlikely based off his track record he won’t even get 25+. I need him to at least get 15-20 pts with 5+ blocks and 12 or more rebounds.

Lebron is such a smart player. He knew he exerted all his energy first quarter game 2 and they got blown out. So game 3 no energy til late second and they won by 30. I see some of the same for game 5. Lakers up 3-1

LeBron didn’t have a shot in the first qt, but he also has 6 assists before he scored which lead to many open 3s and easy layups. He had 10, 7, 6 in first half. That’s a good half for anyone nevemind year 20 off torn “I heard it pop” tendon in late February. He def has to conserve energy, but he’s actually had one of his best off ball defensive & rebounding playoffs in awhile. LeBron in these playoffs 2nd right now in DEFENSIVE Win Shares behind only AD & 4th in D-Rating! He’s also 8th in RBG & 11th in BPG. This playoffs he’s averaging 22 10 5 Only 3 players in NBA history have averaged that or better in their playoff careers (Bird Giannis Jokic) and LeBron averaging more bpg then them all so far (just barely over Giannis) so even though his 3P shooting was awful first 7 games of the playoffs (5/12, 42% last 2games) his all around game still been as good as anyone could realistically hope for! Been calling for Lonnie over Beasley/TBjr all playoffs as both look shook from playoff lights and Beasley 32.4% from 3 since mid December! Lonnie all year is 45/37/88 which is good efficiency for a SG! He is far more athletic and can give you 10-20 in a game much easier then those 2. Rui needs more mins too!
