Love your quick Dennis breakdown. Over here in Germany, when he came into the league, he was considered a great pesty defender. But that view of him changed somehow (maybe because he really struggled, it's possible). But he got his shit together recently, led Germany national team to some success (which we don't have that often!) and has earned his spot on the Lakers. And he seems to care more again which leads directly to him being a good, nerve-wrecking and pesty defender again!

ADs defense has been crazyyy. When watching you could tell they were rallying around his energy on the defensive end and even after the game everyone all his teammates had to mention it. AD got his confidence back and like lebron said winning is all gonna be up to him. It’s time for AD to take over for bron and the teams behind it. Let the old man rest easy 💪

The Lakers put on a master class on how to utterly destroy a team in game 6. Never saw a team so utterly dominate another team in the playoffs. It wasn't like the Grizzlies were ice cold or the Lakers were red hot or the Lakers just utterly outmatched the Grizzlies with talent. Grizzlies were cold but that was because of the stifling defense that the Lakers put on for three straight quarters until the Grizzlies called it quits on an elimination game for the entire fourth quarter basically. Honestly, they could've called it quits midway through the third. The Lakers used that stifling defense to then fuel their offense and played smart basketball.

Lakers defense is real. Grizz had a great defense too. At points the rim protection was elite for them. It will be interesting moving forward for the lakers. I do not think they will face a defense as good as good as Memphis but the offenses the lakers will see are superior.

I think the fact that the grizzlies are the highest scoring team in the paint, makes this a terrible match up for them. The lakers haven't been good defending the 3 ball, so their next match up will be much tougher - 2 movement heavy teams with great 3 point shooting, small ball offences, off ball screens, and who focus on perimeter players It's gonna be GREAT to watch

Anthony Davis couldn't anchor the defense before because you got Westbrook running around with his head cut off on defense, and couldn't space the floor. Now the defense can situate itself and now the real defensive player is now turning up. GSW still got the end though, GSW got too much ball movement, I don't think Davis should content to golden state's speed otherwise he get hurt. Anthony Davis needs to show up offensively.

DPOY should be base on total minutes played not total games played. Look despite AD playing lesser game than JJJ and other DPOY nominees... AD played more total minutes than them.

Come on now. A healthy AD is easily one of the most dominant two way players in the league. Alot of people musta forgot. The key being that he stays healthy of course. But this guy has been doing it since he was at kentucky. He changes the game on both ends.

Cmon now, this is what AD looks like when healthy and rested. He can hoop with elite defense, it's really impressive with his size but we forget about that because he get injured more often than not. Active defense by guard on top and scary defense and length by bron/AD on the paint.

Well defense wins championships tbh even if you have average or above average offense. But we have to remember that ever since Feb, the Lakers was playing every game like a game 7 tbh. As Bron said, every game for them was crucial to get to the playoffs. And well here they are, still trying to find their balance and continue building their team chemistry. The concern for the Lakers is of course health and sustaining that energy and urgency of defense and offense. We saw in the 2 games they lost in this series where they have a really slow start. Then they have turn it on defensively and make a comeback, but there’s only like 3-5 minutes left of the game. So looking into the next round, it’s definitely going to be interesting. Both teams have their weaknesses against the Lakers, but also they are dangerous too. I think for both teams, they do not have an answer for AD. So again, AD has to be THE BEST PLAYER in this series. Both teams are run and gun teams, they play fast and is a strong offense minded teams. Both teams are so-so on defense, but I get the edge to Warriors since they are the veteran championship team. They can turn it on, but again… Kings have Fox who is clutch and quick scorer. So another important factor for the Lakers is the Lakers guards. if they go against the Kings, they have to try to slow down Fox and Monk. if they go against the Warriors, there’s Klay, Steph, and Poole..even Wiggins too. I think for the 2nd round it may go to 7 games though.. you can’t count out the Warriors.. but then those young Kings man.. they won’t back down.

I love how the Lakers baited Brooks into shooting. The guy who talked the most trash ended up being the biggest liability for his team.

That was a great effort by the Lakers. And they won like they should've won to a team missing some key guys, by 40. So I think the Lakers would've come with the win even if those guys had been in. Lebron James's defense effort were noticeable most of the time he seems lost.

Coach even though it's true superstars get the benefit of the doubt in marginal contact it wasn't the case in this series IMO, the refs were allowing a lot of contact for both teams
