well the officiating sure was strange the first two games compared to the last 5 , they gave nuggets all types of calls but the first two games were wack
Nobody outside of those two would even start on another team. Jokic was just too tired to try to win this entire game by himself. He wanted to give up just like the rest of his team.
Nuggets do not have a bench, they sorely miss Bruce Brown. But, the wolves don’t really have anyone that can create shots for themselves either, they are a defensive team
This is true. The departture of Bruce Brown hurts the Nuggets Bench as a whole. However, the return of Mike Conley really eased up the Ball Rotation from Edwards hands as his energy can go towards to defense most of the time
@@thosemanos2769 I was saying from the middle of the season that Denver is going nowhere because they have bad management that didn’t make the necessary trades at the deadline. I’m a Jokic fan first and foremost, so I don’t take this loss personally or seriously, I just feel bad for Jokic because he’s going to take the blame even though his team sucks.
Everything Anthony Edwards is doing is beyond crazy. At just 22 years old, Ant is making an absolute mockery of the reigning NBA champs on their own home court. He’s 6-0 in these playoffs with a postseason average of 32.3 PPG, which is more than MVP candidates Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Edwards makes every big shot down the stretch, he’s one of the most athletic players in recent memory, and his trash-talking and raw emotion make him the greatest entertainer in the game today. He’s also part of a defense that’s so elite it just held the Denver Nuggets to 80 points, despite the Minnesota Timberwolves not even having the DPOY in uniform. The Anthony Edwards era of superstardom has well and truly arrived, and there might not be a single team in the NBA that can do anything to stop him.
He has accomplished absolutely nothing yet. We will see if he even has what it takes to make it to the final. He’s gonna have to get past uncle drew and white lebron first.
Jokic showed no class with openingly telling Ant and McDaniels not to do what they did. Did he openingly tell his coach to stop pouting like a damn baby running on to the court trying to get kicked out interrupting Ant talking to the ref? Or when Jamal Murray was having temper tantrums throwing towels and heat packs on the court potentially seriously injuring someone? Screw you with that righteous indignation it's hypocritical. Glad they lost! I have lost respect for Denver. The Wolves showed patience and respect throughout.
minnesota is so classless that’s a big reason that bum ass city don’t have a championship at any level of sport competition and this year won’t be the exception, if it’s not Dallas then it will be Boston who sends them to Cancun.
This Tyson dude smoking some straight Straight fenty! How are you going to get mad and then go try and score right after what kind of class is that🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
I really wanted McDaniels to pull that dunk off at the end. Breaking the unwritten rule, I don't care, I was halfway out of my seat when I saw that bounce. Lol
Nah, NBA is getting soft like MLB with all their silly unwritten rules about showing up losers, not shooting when up by too much or not playing hard when your opposition has clearly folded.
@sin842 - his team is stacked just like any other team in the nba They have a 36 y/o Mike Conley starting, their 6th man was undrafted. Everybody laughed at KAT and Rudy until now. Revisionist history at its finest
@@nydibs They are 4th expensive team in the NBA, with 3 all-stars, a DPOY, and a 6th man of the year. They are absolutely NOT like any other team in the NBA.
In the second half, Denver was 90% dependent on Jokic to win the game. He's great, but there is not one man that's great enough to beat an entire team.
At the end of the game: ♪ "There must be some kind of way outta here" / Said the Joker to the team / "There's too much confusion / I can't get no relief" / ♪
@@caliside7449 nah, lakers wasn't even expected to reach the playoffs., nuggets fans more hurt. they are expected to at least reach the conference finals again this year...😭😭😭
It's kind of a surprise how long it went to begin with. 1 mvp vs 2 all stars, 1 dpoty, 1 6thmoty, Team USA members and 3 bigs. With Mpj checking out by game 4, Murray only able to play a half and no one on that team shooting 3's, it was a slow death. Wolves were the better team but damn have the fans been toxic, especially the Lakers fans hitching for the hate train ride.
Definitely Jokic does not deserve the blame but unfortunately we all know there’s a lot of people who never wanted him to be the best player in the world and they’ll say this series is part of the proof of that he isn’t 😒 but really it is about the Wolves supporting cast around their best player Ant being better than Jokic’s in this series. I blame it on the way the media tried to portray Jordan as a God who went 6-0 almost like it was an individual accomplishment, so from then because Jordan became the golden standard of best player in the world then on any player who was at the top of the league started getting treated like if they lost it was an indictment on them as an individual, when in reality yes Jordan was the best but the efforts of an individual don’t result in wins most of the time unless the teammates are contributing at a high level. I don’t think media and fans used to push that type of narrative as much pre Jordan , for example for many years Russell vs Wilt debate I think mostly favored Wilt despite his team losing to Russell like 8 times. People understood back then it’s a team sport more clearly.
The coach lost this game.. he played joker all but one minute and has DeAndre Jordan sitting on the bench. The wolves played 2 bigs and beat them on the picks Everytime.. joker needed rest and the coach was too stupid to play DeAndre
Jokic gets the easiest whistles in the league right now. He can throw elbows and do moving screens all he want and the refs don't care. Almost every play is an offensive foul.
Edwards couldnt hold that mans jock. He is not on the same planet as jokic as far as skill goes and jokic is about as athletic as a potato but he is smarter and more skilled than everyone. Wolves have a stacked team, good for them. The nuggets without jokic would probably be a bottom 5 team in the league. Without edwards, the wolves would still be good.
@@jessequintana5686he’s second highest PER in playoffs, top 5 in ppg, 2nd in win shares, top 5 in defensive win shares. Any other false statements u wanna put out idiot?
I don't think he's overrated but I do question why he's not more central to the Nuggets, to me he's their number one option... As elite as he was at times during these playoffs, there were the two games this series where he just completely disappeared..
Overrated? He had his best game when his team needed him. He was the reason we had that big lead. Blame it on MPJ/AG/KCP for not helping. Murray played better then Ant
Been said it, his only goal was to beat lebron! All year this kook put all his energy into beating a 40 year old dood🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 after game 1 in this series u could 100% tell that’s all he cared about was showing out for bron bron🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑 worst mf boi!
Sad ppl like this think having hella points matters when it’s a team game! If points mattered then nuggets shoulda won. Joker and furry shot 69pts and AE KAT and McDaniels only scored 59! That’s why the warriors are trash. U keep trying to feed one 1 or 2 players that’s easy to telegraph and lock down. But if the whole squad going stoopid and I got someone like AE to make sure u don’t take that L it’s over!!!!!
Nuggets whine so much. From the coach to Jamal. It's ridiculous. Give credit to Jokic though - he was the only one I saw not crying like a baby on calls.
Can’t wait for ant to sweep them crybaby luka and lebron’s child Kyrie. He hasn’t won anything since leaving lebron and he will never win again without lebron, when your leader is a crybaby like luka u ain’t winning shit just like why lebron isn’t winning past 2020 since he’s becoming a crybaby now.
Even if Edward’s had a horrible game shooting at 25%, that shot was the dagger right there, and that’s all that mattered. Also I think it’s crazy that joker and Murray were able to carry this team to a ring last season, outside of these two guys, the team is just bad.
You have to add AG, he still had value in both scoring and defense in both series. Mpj didn't show up at all this series and Kcp was mixed in value per game. Murray had 3.5 bad games...
@@187-SaltyCrackers I like the Wolves to beat Dallas too, but it doesn't matter what happened during the regular season. PHX beat Minny 3-0 by double digits each game in the regular season. Wolves destroyed them in the playoffs. So you never know.
Would definitely prefer Edwards being the face of NBA instead of Jokic. Jokic wouldn't even be upset that he lost but happy and relieved to go home to his horses ..
"showed up big time", you mean the guy with only 16 pts? LMFAO. Jokic dropped a 34, 16, and 7. Where was Ant? You act like Jokic wasn't doing his shit. KAT carried Ant, KAT should be the face.

Jokic ganhou o titulo e esboçou um sorriso enquanto abraçava a todos, inclusive os rivais. O outro foi pra final da conferência e provocou a torcida. Que abismo!
They've been acting like this throughout the whole playoff series. So I don't think there's just doing this for denver😂 you Must be a Denver nugget fan
This series was over and done with when Anthony Edwards received VERY loud "MVP" chants in the home that Jokic built at the end of the Game 2 blowout of the Nugs. For some reason nobody seemed to speak to that, but I thought that was very telling.
