Easily my fav on the album, shit was so mid but this song one of Drake’s best, not quite Sicko mode but I think it’s pretty clear Drake and Travis need to do more Collabs lol
@@samir_rod it’s a jay-z bar. And it’s applicable because y’all care more about telling people about your opinion on the music than actually listening and enjoying the music.
honestly same. i dont hate drake but i also dont think hes made a solid album in over half a decade. that said, this track and maybe 4-6 tracks off clb are pretty good. but the album as a whole was mediocre, repetitive and kinda boring
I don’t get why people are making it like “ YOU MUST CHOSE CLB OR DONDA, YOU CANT LIKE BOTH” shit is so whack to me. It’s music, if you like it you like it, simple
I grew up listening to drake from the age of 15 and I seriously loved listening to him and loved all his albums. The last 6 years though have been so depressing. How can you go 6 years and never ONCE try something different or new.
@@larryjohnson5759 yeahh. Also, hiphop is well received worldwide starting 2012ish. That's mostly people moved on from pop song imo. So, drake making the same beat is like why change if nothing's wrong. Kinda boring tho
@@Alex-xl8fc Because he half asses dancehall lol and then wants the black community to appreciate him but never mentions the issues they face. Drake is like: You guys better appreciate me I didn't bite I put wizkid on the map and hey I didn't half ass drill y'all I put skepta on the map. Just shut up Drake no one believes you.
@@cph4314 fax people just give the album a listen and assume the rest of the tracks are garbage 😹 DONDA is so nice everyday another track from the album grows on me
liked 4 songs from the whole Album, Fair Trade, Love All, Pipe Down and No Friends in the Industry. This is all personal preference though. Ya'll can like whatever. The 808's on Girls want girls are off key so...
TSU is cool, a little vibe. Just doesn’t feel like Drake even tried there. But it’s still a nice song, is just not one that I would have on repeat. There’s other songs on the album on that same category. Knife Talk literally sounds like a 2013 Metro throw away beat. Dry af
How can you say the songs too good for the album honestly when you haven’t even listened to the whole album?! Absolute Idiot. Most stupid thing I’ve read all day.
Starting to think a certain way about twitch followers in general. It makes sense that they are the most brainless fans possible, they’re primarily only watching 1 creator most likely and watching them for streams that go on 6-8 hours. Starting to understand the platform more but I’m not liking what I’m seeing.
i don’t understand people comparing donda and clb. both goats of music, they make totally different genres of rap. personally i think donda is 10/10 in its own way, and clb is maybe 6-7/10
@@realestsienna 1. This was a year ago. 2. Never said the song was bad. 3. He literally steals shit. If he was honest with himself and everyone else he would say exactly who he took inspiration from.
Travis snaps but his verse did not fit the song in the audio was very bad and him humming off KEY and singing off key towards the end did not help him 🥺😖
I hope he gives it a 1/10, just 1 for this song because the rest was utter shite, very underwhelming and disappointing, whack bars weak beats 😭😭 clb but no marvins room???
Everyone saying it's mid is corny lmao. The album been out for 2 days, wait till everyone else starts bumping the songs that are "trash" and they opinions changing. Corny ass dudes riding the bandwagon to hate. This album forsure is gonna grow on everyone just like IYRTITL and Views.
if there's 20 hot bars in an album and the reviewer focuses on one bad line and doesn't mention anything else..that's the author being biased and not being able to separate his feelings from his opinions. Yall can hate on drake because it's popular, but that doesn't take away credit where it's due
He gave Donda a 7 and CLB is a much better album. I don't think he will love the album but I do think it deserves around the same type of review. I'm thinking a review like he gave The Weeknds After Hours which I think got like a 7 1/2 review. I don't think it deserves anything lower tbh. You take away: Girls Want Girls, Way Too Sexy which I already know he will absolutely cringe at & there's a few others like Knife Talk and Fucking Fans which I think don't make the album stronger can go. If you take those songs off the album it actually becomes a way stronger LP. It still is Drakes best project since IYRTITL. Views and Scorpion have hits, that can't be denied but they are both so soulless and you don't feel much of anything while listening to them. More Life is great for summer but not much else which is fine. I don't think it was intended for much else. Scary Hours Ep 2 was great but only three songs you can't rate it too much only the songs in general which all three are great. Dark Lane Demo Tapes definitely hinted at what's to come but CLB actually shows life and emotion and pain and Drake isn't holding back or phoning things in. I personally think people are mad there's not some poppy upbeat radio hit people can dance too like One Dance or In My Feelings and honestly this album doesn't need that. It's clear Drake actually had a vision for this album and for better or worse he stuck by it. Everything sounds cohesive which hasn't been the case for a Drake project in a long time. Me personally I think it's some of Drakes best work in a long time. Drake knows who he is and what works for him. If ain't broke no need to fix it but atleast he acknowledges that and went harder with the rapping this time around and opened up a bit more than he did on Scorpion and Views.
@@z_rxo understandable bro, but man Kanye could do so much better and I’m not that big of a fan of him. I know that dude is mad talented, but Donda wasn’t it for me. Honestly I ain’t even gonna lie 9 songs off it (to me) are perfect tho. CLB is just mad fun and had some surprises I haven’t necessarily heard before and has more of a replay value for me I guess.
