California is a bop but this new era is the perfect time for lorde to give us some new vocal technique because the production is very subdued and it makes her voice the main attraction of the album
I really like the song wrighting, particularly how some of the melodys naturally morph and change but I can't help but feel like theres a better version of the song out there somewhere like this is only a demo.
T say that Lorde has no talent is stupid, people act as if Melodrama and Pure Heroine ceased to exist and now all of Lorde's potential is uniquely defined in this album.
