I got into Alex Rider by accident really, and it was the best accident ever... In primary school we had to write a book report and the teacher selected many different books from the library, I got to class a little too late so I missed out on books like Roald Dahl ones for example. so I was left with 3 books to choose from and among the 3 was Alex Rider Point Blanc.. I figured id give it a shot and it was the best decision i made. I love the TV series so much I can not stop watching it, such a great job has been done and I can't wait for more information on Season 2, I really hope it ends up being Skeleton Key

Eagle Strike was one of the best books for me because it was well-thought out in that it utilised a lot of Alex’s innate creativity rather than whipping out a gadget. He had to rely on his skills to get out of the “game”, and while his bicycle was a gadget, it was used intelligently by Alex, rather than it being a deus ex machina. I rather liked Scorpia and Snakehead too, as it revealed a bit more about John Rider’s past.

i found out they made this into a series this year and quickly it became one of my fave shows ever. read the books growing up and was so obsessed, so to see this amazing adaptation was truly so exciting. we want season 3!

I was excited to hear about this, since I still love the books (especially Yassen who is my favourite character in the series) and have proudly infected the next generation with the obsession. Sadly, I don't live in the UK and it was a huge letdown to realize that I am unable to watch this at the moment. I hope the rest of the world gets to experience this soon, too.

Wow I've never expected to actually see the man behind the books much less an live action version of the Alex Rider series. Picked up Stormbreaker way back in 2007. Great to see this!

MOVIE was a proper adaptation.... if u read book, u must know, that all cheesy things there was also in the book. Lets say, We now have mature, dark realistic one and it s better.

the movie wasnt terrible.. quite opposite, it adapted book in all its cheesy ways.... show adapted books in more mature, darker, realistic tone...

Am i the only one that can't stand this series? SO many things are changed from the books! Operation Stormbreaker was silly (the movie I mean), but the characters seemed much more spot on

Anthony Horowitz is a pathetic plagiarist! Anyone ever hear of the movie Disturbing Behavior 1998 or the original Stepford Wives written by Ira Levin (1972)! Movie with Katherine Ross (1975) based on his book? Revenge of the Stepford Wives (1980) or The Stepford Husbands (1996). Remake Stepford Wives in (2004). Catching the drift? Not very original!
