@@olgahernandez4825 You're clearly stupid if you think that fight was boring. It was genius. He knew what he had to do to defeat Ruiz and rightfully get his belts back and he did that with ease.
Wilder is probably the worse out of the 3 . Joshua and Fury can actually box . Wilder has to depend on a 1 punch knockout . Sooner or later the one punch pony won’t be able to land one and will lose a decision , like he should have with Fury lol .
The is reason why aj is the top price fighter in the world he's boxed and won 6 word champions that's more then fury and wilder put together he's the only boxer that I think can go to work on wilder ....yeah fury can but he ain't got the knock out power aj has

@@paw1ak_248 Ruiz does not have above average power for a heavyweight. Hand speed is GREAT, super dangerous, but his foot speed is TERRIBLE. Too heavy... too slow. Also, his reach is simply too low. Can't make use of those hands, and moves too slow to cut the ring off. That's why I say, he never really stood a chance.
@@Ytremz not above average strenght? He is heavy enought to inflict serious damage on any fighter for me he isnt slow because he stalks you for the full 12 rounds and never steps back but i agree he does seem slow sometimes in the meaning of agressivness he should learn how to put up the pace when he is loosing a fight.
The loss made AJ an adaptive fighter who can change his style. In the past he relied too much on his raw power to knock out his opponent, but now he has shown he can also outbox the other side. That shot that opened Ruiz´s eyebrow immediately restored his respect for Joshua as a boxer and it set the tone for the rest of the fight. According to the cards Ruiz lost 10 out of the 12 rounds, sorry but that´s Ruiz graduating from the AJ Academy of Boxing.
Punch and run punch and run clinch and run points wins the day boxing is so lame aj is the prime example of why boxing has changed so much, figures why everyone is switching to MMA
@Tommy4s Collin why not just make it a professional game of tag, if your afraid of brain damage dont get involved with these sports they're dangerous that's no secret. Very few people are entertained by points why do you think crowds start to roar when boxers are just letting them hands fly? Its entertaining as hell that's why people continue to watch expecting some FIGHTING excitement period. If you were to tell everyone before a boxing match that the following fight will be based on points only no hard hitting no K.Os NOTHING just see who taps eachother face the most and runs the fastest. @@dariusewing6962 Even Tyson got knocked out. Don't mean anything because it's about what you do when you get back up. This fight, AJ was the better boxer because he was prepared. Just like I knew he would be. Andy's face look like he walked into the ugly stick. 😂🤣😂
Darius Ewing How great is your life. You probably think your clowning him but you’re looking like a clown yourself thinking that your laughing at somet that just made 85 million in less than an hour. I feel sorry for u lol
AJ lost the fight first with the first knockdown causing his equilibrium to set up because the "punch from the gods" close to behind the ear, if you know the game and know knowledge of taking punches, you know that those punches like the 1 Joshua took wasn't cause he has a weak chin, it was a shot that landed on the right spot at the right time, and as you see, right when he got hit with that left hook, his legs weakened, even when he tried getting back up right away, he tried getting up, look at his leg as he tries getting back up he wobbles the leg and instead takes puts his leg down and takes the knee and waits till 9, and after ... as you see, and that took all his energy and gave Ruiz the confidence. That's the reason Joshua lost in that fashion. But, mentally he wasn't right neither and he wasn't prepared for what happened but this time around he took it very serious and was prepared for ANYTHING this time.
@@EpicReignI am an AJ fan but buddy it’s 1-1. You act like AJ won the trilogy already. You talking trash way too early. How you gonna call out other people for trash talking AJ when you clearly doing the same thing about Andy. Come on bro humble up and lead, stop following the pack.

@@tupikahielos4758, that's the thing people like you don't understand. Boxing isn't all about knocking people out. Joshua's team had a plan which they executed well. He moved around and made it difficult for Ruiz.
Always been an AJ fan since the Olympics and have seen every fight. Was nervous about this one after the first Ruiz fight but that was his best performance by far. Pure skill. His ability to slip punches, great footwork and jab was stinging and his right hand was fast too. He's dangerous to anyone now. He needs to keep this way of training up and he will he right up with the best of his generation.
This is a good lesson for AJ. Had the first fight not been a short notice, AJ would have won it.. Great win. AJ reminds me a lot of Wladimir Stylistically
AJ losing the first fight had quite literally not one thing to do with it being "short notice", so no, he wouldn't have won regardless, and the history books says different as well.
Having time to prepare resulted in this victory obviously, so I don't quite understand how having little time to prepare has nothing to do with the loss. Some people are so annoying making pointless points just to put their 2 cents in.
Vinnie Durrant Aj fans can’t even follow their champion footsteps and accept that the first fight Andy won fair and square and that this fight aj won fair and square. Even aj said there was no excuses yet you guys look like clowns making excuses no matter what 😂😂😂
Carlos Antonio Urby Cruz Why can’t anyone post an opinion on here without someone getting their feelings hurt? Yes, I watched AJ vs Ruiz 1 and I watched the 2nd fight. AJ prepared for Miller the first fight, his first fight in the states, Miller got pulled out and Ruiz stepped in on short notice. AJ should have never taken the fight and go back to training camp. Yes he underestimated Ruiz and lost the fight, however, with correct training camp, AJ outclassed the fat Ruiz pretty badly. If they fight again, exact same thing will happen unless Ruiz cuts a lot of weight which I don’t see it happening. He did nothing but gained weight and went shopping after winning the lottery in the first fight. I see Ruiz losing a decision all day to Fury, AJ and a very bad KO by Wilder..
@@carlosantoniourbycruz1023 there's reason and excuse... We're talking bout reason to what's happened. Anthony's defense is he was training for a different fighter and accepted Andy as a replacement on short notice. And Andy bein in a not so built shape, really creeps the idea of none threatening for everybody and Joshua including. All these facts stacked up, puts the explanation to the lost fight. The shock in the ring for Joshua and errybody was immense, his fast hands and surprisingly decent cardio got everyone. This is mental pressure on Joshua's part, including the equilibrium shot that is known for stunning an opponent got Joshua. On Andy's defense, he is an excellent fighter. Having speed, power, and impressive style/technique makes him quite the dangerous opponent for anybody. So all factors combined shows what happened on that night. If it was a proper set fight, it would b a 60/40 leaning on Joshua. Since he would b training and setting a game plan for Andy's technique and countering it.

Agreed but Joshua cannot take a punch and is scared to flight with Ruiz, who has decent power but not like Wilder's. What is Joshua going to do against Wilder? Fury is a better boxer than Joshua and he still got caught by Wilder. Joshua gets hit by Wilder but will not get up.
A guy who’s much shorter and has much shorter reach, moves slower with this feet..... I mean it’s called common sense. Why would you go toe to toe with a guy who can take more punches than you and delivers them harder than you. He won in a really boring manner, but a very SMART manner.

Phenomenal fight by AJ. Completely schooled Ruiz and Ruiz couldn't do a single thing about it. They both had an equal prep time/camp and so there are 0 excuses. Simple yet so effective; Jab and move, Hit and don't get hit back. Get over it, the best man won fair and square.
Marco Sanchez you mexicans been salty that Mayweather been fucking up your fighters with his style. now AJ did it. get over it, Andy is a fighter while AJ is a boxer.
The Schmidt Anderson Stop it with the racial comments. This is a boxing site. Didn’t Floyd knock out the undefeated Hatton? Congratulations to AJ a great champion. Fuck the running talk and the ignorance that comes with it. Much respect to AJ. They both have a win over each other. AJ by way of decision and Andy by way of tko.
@Marco Sanchez Nah man... He was boxing, not brawling; the objective is to hit and not get hit. Easy (although not exciting) formula for winning. In this fight, Joshua used his strengths well (i.e. jab, reach, footwork) and won. Just like Ruiz used his strengths well on June 1st (i.e fast hands, power) and won. Boxing is about coming up with a strategy to defeat your opponent, and we saw today that Joshua’s strategy was better. Even Andy stated after the fight that he should have prepared a better strategy.
My good brother AJ..you really made my night by winning your game ..I will always support you and even if you loose ,not every body will like but please keep on going higher ,,AJ,,for good.
Ok boys and gals here's my take on it. Fantastic win for AJ showing that he can not only win by knocking people out but by also moving around the ring and boxing like Mayweather and Ali. I'm English, patriotic and wanted AJ to win badly. Have to say though I was always worried when Ruiz got upclose and let his punches go. I don't think AJ can take a punch very well, I'm sure most people would agree with me on that. If AJ does ever fight Wilder I think Wilder would knock him out.
Believe In Yourself When Nobody Else Will that’s called boxing Mohamed Ali did the same thing and he’s considered the greatest of all time 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
