You're right but we do that a lot in this country. Joshua's boxing has always been very basic but people in boxing made it out like he's a generational talent. They did the same thing with Amir khan who had a lot of the same problems as Joshua. Come to think of it, we've hardly had a world class fighter from this country. Maybe Naz or Calzaghe?

@stanleykubrakubrik being in the top 10 doesn't make you a world class talent. It could just mean that he's amongst other averagely talented fighters. I don't think a world class fighter would make the mistakes he's made tonight and previously i.e. no defence, weak jab, chin in the air etc. He's definitely a world class athlete but not a world class fighter in my view. The only 2 world class fighters I'd pick in the heavyweight division is Usyk and the Tyson Fury from a couple of years ago. Just my 2 cents on it.

It wasn't about falling for the hype, it's not like Dubois is Joe Frazier or something that everyone should have picked him. It was a fight between 2 average heavyweights, some picked AJ and some picked Dubois. Nothing major about it.

Well actually he didn't. Dubois lost every round against Usyk. Even the 5th rd, he got up and pummelled him.

Usyk is the man but unfortunately nobody cares. Nobody cared when he was king of the cruiserweight division either. He gained a few AJ fan boys when he beat AJ but they got bk on the AJ train. Now there bk in the Usyk train again.
