How beautifully he said, I'm a Nigerian man by blood. Beautiful. People usually want to put people in boxes, others want to belong. Me being mixed I always say, I am me. I love both countries but I am both, not one or the other. Which is only right I believe.
@@asiatic_black There's no lie about what he said. I understand this is long overdue and there's no need visiting this or arguing about it but what he said is true. I am a pure Nigerian. I know what my country is capable of. Some of us here have committed so many atrocities towards ourselves and other countries to the point where we've been labelled as a corrupt country. Yeah we are corrupt, but out of the black pot comes the white pap... it's a yoruba adage. We get discriminated by people and of course when we do well for other countries they act like they own us simply because we live there and have enjoyed some of their privileges. It's not like they give so much support as offering their assistance to the attacks we face here... they don't know us. They only known us and claim us when we are deemed useful by them. So yes they are possessive.
AJ you are thoroughly a very nice person .lm not sayigthis becuase of this Video .lam from UK .lam your fans .l like you becuase you always true to your root and very humble .May God almighty give you strength to achieving your objectives in boxing .Nigerian are proud of you "Ride on our Amiable Son .
Good morning Anthony Joshua two time heavyweight Champion of the World .Thank you our son .May Amiighty God continues to guard and protect you in all your undertaking .
Why are you Nigerians like this? We heard when the guy came to Nigeria to plead if he could go to Olympics, he was rejected outrightly because he had no name and it was from that same Olympics he came to stardom. But now that he has built himself to the peak of his career you are now calling him our own. Life isn't just for those who already has a name, no one knows what tomorrow holds. I wonder where the so called professionals that were chosen ahead of him are at the moment. They will always use and dump one without a name. I hope we can learn one day sha and stop famzing with success we didn't know the origin and stop making a fool of yourselves in the eyes of all. In between, congratulations to Anthony Joshua jnr for reclaiming your title as the World Champion.
It was not us the citizens who stopped him from competing for our country. It was those in power. So us citizens will continue to love him like we have from the beginning
So Nigerians are bad for being happy for another Nigerian doing great things? Abi what the hell are you saying? Are we the ones that stopped him? Mr man please go and sit down and carry your negativity away from us.
When Africans does good, they took the credit, but when they does bad they quickly name them Africans, I just blame Africans for not being patriotic enough, Filipinos always fight for their country even though they are in America, the same to Mexico they put their country first and fight for their people, the same to all part of the world expect Africans which promotes self hatred.....though it is because Africa Government do not recognize their own citizens unlike other continent , the change need to start from you and i
So let's stop the bad and focus on the good. Nobody wants to be associated with crimes. It's simple. Joshua wanted to fight for Nigeria at the Olympics but the Nigerian boxing authority declined because they didn't know him. Britain accepted that he fought in their name. Now that he's successful you know all of a sudden that he's not Patriotic. SMH!
@@Nana-ur7nh yea we Africans are not Patriotic enough,Both the leader and the citizens due partake in the unpatriotic act, the change need to come from you and I as I said earlier.. Thanks
Joshua pray to fight for Nigerian Olympic team but was rejected. Nobody gave him a chance in Nigeria except the British. Don't blame him but our corrupted system
@@collinscollins679 home is where I feel "at home" and appreciated. Whether it's my country of origin or somewhere else. And that's where I will owe my first allegiance. I will not hide under the pretence of any superficial patriotism and ruin myself. That's my point.
@@johnb2k411 yeah I understand bro, that's why we Africans need to wake up and get things right, because no matter where ever you found yourself provided you are not in your home, you are slave there, there is no place like home period, talking from experience
Highly respected young man .good talking man .God blessed u all ur days in life's .after all dis money u HV ,u would beg fr health's in Jesus name Amen .from star to beggers ,after millions of $ dollar's .safe money .forget worldly thing's ,be born again with Christ .don't beg fr health's .keep good health's .
Once they get integrated, they get transformed into very civil and creative ppl. U can see Joshua is smooth and clean in is response, we can’t go into some tussle with the UK over his nationality. They gave him that platform which Nigeria hasn’t done for many talented young persons at home. African ppl over like readymade
He’s British not Nigeria assume he did not grow up in Britain nobody would know A.J , Nigeria is a talent killer, all thanks to your parents who brought you up in Britain. Am a full Nigerian i know what i suffered in that country and only the rich are opportune to acquire such level of boxing if you live in Nigeria, so all credit to Britain....
moses nmc well some people understood what i meant , as you can see it was a Nigeria man interviewing him imagine the question he’s asking him so what do you expect as response ...
INFORMATION TV have you watched his advert with Glo? Did you hear him speak Yoruba? So if a Nigerian man should interview Beyoncé then she will deny America and claim Nigerian just because she want to please the interviewer???
Nigerians always claiming what is not. He's technically British not a Nigeria. If he identified as a Nigerian in his boxing career he wouldn't have made it this far.
I am seriously trying to understand the hoopla about a man speaking his language. Would this have been news, if a French man or Japanese man communicates to his people in thier language?
Not all Africans speak their native tongue if you have lived another country predominately you most likely pickup that language to get by , obviously. It isn’t necessary shocking to see him doing this but it’s cool. If the French man who lived in Mongolia his whole life spoke French they would hooray that to your point. If the Chinese man living in Britain spoke Chinese. Chinese speakers also would not mind that and also hooray.
This is the problem with Nigeria and some African countries, they are not ready to support and showcase the young ones, only embezzling of public funds, passing nonsense bills. I weep for my homeland.
