Natural. He sings like he speaks... a pleasure to listen a vocalist who doesn't try too hard.

This song resonates with anyone who loved someone and wanted to stay a part of that person's life even though they realized they would never be together.

I love the idea that the whole time he is saying "You don't need to love me" you assume that this is going to be a mutual thing, but then at the end they switch it up on you, and you realize he is saying all of these things because he does love her. That is music theatre at its best right there.

Several days ago, he came to my school (Great Neck North) to see one rehearsal of our prodction of Rent. He is a really nice person, and he spoke to us and gave us a lot of good adivce. I respect him so much. He is a true inspiration.

The first time I heard this at about age 21, I loved the message behind the song and found it wonderfully angsty. I played it for my older sister and she said it was really sad, which I just didn’t understand. Ten years later, it’s still lovely, but I now understand her perspective. It would be really awful to willingly go into a relationship knowing that the other person will never be able to return your love.

This is just amazing! Haven't stop listening to this since I found it, 30 min ago. The song is beautiful and so is Anthony's voice. Can't wait to hear the soundtrack of the show

What the right stage actor sings a song, the message comes through loud and clear without losing any nuance. This was perfect.

I saw this when it was in it's trial period at the National Theater in DC and it was AMAZING. Both Idina and Anthony were as outstanding as they were in RENT and I couldn't stop crying...lol.
