Loved Warlow slipping into his Frank Spencer voice mid song. I could picture Michael Crawford laughing hysterically if he saw this. There is other Opera Singer / Comedian for you.
Two professionals on stage together doing their craft and enjoying what they do. This is magic and a joy to watch, your right best combination of music and comedy they are the complete package
I went to the Main EVENT CONCERT one of the best concerts I went to . Olivia Newton John was also on the show …….Pure Entertainment didn’t want it to end
Just when you think you've got John pegged.on what he can do, he just kicks.it up a notch or two and leaves you speechless. Anthony Warlow is another fantastic musical/classical performer from Australia and this is a nice snippet of his immense talent.
@@grendelsan Bullcrap In an Interview he was Asked Where he got his amazing voice From and he Specifically said He had no Vocal Training it was just something that came naturally to him ...So your wrong
@@traviscarlson6718 Bob Tasman-Smith was Farnham's vocal coach. Sorry, you're wrong. Farnham may not have gone to a vocal performance academy to really study the ins and outs of vocal work, but he has had some professional vocal training.
This is by far the best reaction to Granada by John and Anthony that I have seen. You got every joke every little moment no matter how small, and that's what makes this such a great video. Thanks again for the laughs.👍🎼💯🇦🇺😘
When John rolled his r's, l though Angie was going to proverbially wet her pants; her reaction was great, and then the comedy kept coming as you both joyfully laughed.
You have to have serious talent to be able sing AND do a full on comedy routine! These two pulled it off amazingly like two naughty school boys LOL Bravo indeed.
Anthony Warlow is a renowned opera singer world-wide. Phantom of the Opera, etc etc. He is from Down Under like John. John is lovingly referred to as "The Great Jumping Jack Flash" and is truly amazing. The best we have Down Under. You should see John with his friend Tom Jones performing in a similar show !!!!! That was the reference I think Anthony made to Mr Jones, if I remember correctly. The lyrics on John's songs are absolutely amazing. Watch him perform "You are The Voice." We should make all our young people watch and listen to John perform that with the likes of The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra ! If that doesn't get the blood circulating nothing will. There is no artist in the world like John. Amen !!
I'm so glad you both loved this. They are so funny together. What a hoot! I love the way they send up the pomposity that opera often receives- it's an absolute p!ss -take !This was from a concert called The Main Event. Olivia Newton-John was also in the trio of performers. You know how good John and Olivia are but this is probably your first experience of the wonderful talent of Anthony Warlow, pronounced War-low. His main activity is in musical theatre. On the same show he has a solo singing ," This Is The Moment" from the musical "Jekyl And Hyde." It's very dramatic and incredibly spine-tingling! Do yourself and others a favour and give it a reaction, too, p-l-e-a-s-e!!!
I am so glad you got to this one. I did say John sang Opera, I just didn’t say how. I think they both improved Opera which is natural for Anthony. Many people that saw the main event bought tickets to multiple shows if they could get them because it was wonderful. John is always funny live and Anthony is our top stage musical actor and singer. Olivia Newton John came home and did this tour with those two. Anthony had just finished some really rough cancer treatments and they toured with him for 3 months. All 3 are really great people and that is what Aussies do. Anthony was the star of Phantom Of The Opera here and he is always amazing. We have some amazing talent that never left home. Livvi did but she always comes home again and always when she is needed. She built women a big cancer place in a hospital but it feels like home. She also has a place you can stay where her home is. Now she is fighting it for I think the 3rd time, they told her there is nothing left to help her but she will not give up. These 3 are very much loved here along with others. I loved your reactions, they were the best.
I was at that concert and it was amazing, one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. The show was called The Main Event and starred John Farnham, Anthony Warlow and Olivia Newton-John. The camaraderie between them was fantastic. They sang all their hits and music from Anthony’s shows and had so much fun together. John’s such a Showman and loves clowning around. Please see if you can do more reactions from the show, like John and Olivia singing Please Don’t Ask Me and You’re the one that I want from Grease. I think you’ll love them.😊
..How come I keep missing some of these reactions 😪 but I have found it now ❤❤❤🎶 Wasnt that GREAT. See we keep telling you he can literally sing anything. Anthony is a professionally trained opera singer. The best in Aus and John can certainly hold his own with him
Anthony was fairly recently playing Daddy Warbucks in Annie on broadway. he has also done Les miserable and Sweeney Todd as well as his best known role of the Phantom of the opera in several tours in Australia. he needs more attention and credit than he gets.
Tell me folks have you ever heard another singer sing this great? The fact he had no vocal training uses no Auto tune or any special effects to enhance his voice nothing at all this is his normal singing voice ....John is my inspiration as a singer and as a human The Fact he's 73 Years old and Can still sing exactly like this and still hit notes like this is absolutely incredible i know he sings like this still because ive seen John in concert so i know👌❤️❤️❤️
Loved your reaction to this almost as much as I love the performance. Especially Angie who I thought was about to wet herself when Farnsey was rolling his Rs! 😂. Both unbelievable singers from different genres, but they blend so well. And of course Farnham could sing a shopping list and if it were live it would sound fantastic.
wow.... fantastic. Anthony is a trained opera singer and yet John keeps up with him..amazing. John has done musicals in the past so he does know his way around a stage. Two stunning Aussie talents.
John Farnham is possibly the most underrated entertainer Australia ever produced. Sadly, this great man has now been sidelined with mouth cancer... He is currently getting medical work done to arrest it. Get well soon. John..
It’s awesome isn’t it.. 2 great Aussie just having fun doing what they do best.. Just love how excited you get Angie get when John starts to sing, your face just lights up with pure enjoyment. the whole concert is awesome with Olivia Newton John as well.. 🇦🇺😊🇦🇺😊
This whole concert was awesome, The Main Event. Staring John Farnham, Anthony Warlow and Olivia Newton John. These two also do a fabulous song Bad Habits. John and Olivia do a stunning performance of You're The One That I Want. I'm sure if look at other songs from this uploader you'll find more from this concert, cheers
Its time to react to John singing when the war is over. From a live show called the last time. Its from 2003. He is singing solo . It really shows his vocal range to fullest.
Anthony Warlow was our Phantom of the Opera and a trained opera singer he has appeared on Broadway in Annie as Daddy Warbucks, and in Finding Neverland, and his voice has such beautiful tone. The Main Event where John and Anthony were joined by Olivia Newton John was a very successful tour.
I have to watch your reviews usually twice lol. One to watch both your wonderful reactions and again to watch the vid 😂. I lent mum my DVD of the concert to watch John. We were never huge Anthony fans, until this concert. So mum and I went to an see Another perform Daddy Warbucks in Annie. Then to an Anthony Luncheon CD launch were we had our photo taken with him. I had my hand on his shoulder and didn’t realise until I saw the photo 😂
Hi Angie & Rollen, I love your reactions to our singers & bands, in particular to John Farnham, so I've sent you a link to a behind the scenes clip featuring John, Anthony & Oliva Newton John. Hope you enjoy it.👍
You have covered a number of Farnham songs now (kudos!), from Rock, to Pop, to soft ballads and now verging on opera. To round out his versatility try Gospel - "Amazing Grace" with Vanetta Fields and Lindsay Field (2 of his regular backing singers - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6danLkCJoFI.html), and a touch of Jazz in "That's What Love Will Make You Do" (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AK9uhGmvo6U.html).
It doesn't matter what john sings - we always feel happy. Rollen - you have a beautiful smile, Angie - I think you are perhaps a little "in love" with Farnsey? You have to wonder what the result would have been if John had ever had any singing training. May'24. UK. E❤
If you want a real treat, watch the WHOLE of the show with John, Olivia Newton John and Anthony - it is 2 hrs 38 minutes long but you will love it. It starts with Anthony singing Phantom of the Opera - the concert is called THE MAIN EVENT. Here is the link:- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qd-USQDe9dg.html
Anthony would be the best stage singer Australia has produced he was Phantom of the Opera, you must react to Music of the Night from this performance, he has come back from cancer and kicked it’s arse and continues today.
Anthony Warlow is a fantastic singer, known for many roles including the Phantom in 'Phantom of the Opera'. If you'd like to 'overdose' on John Farnham, Anthony Warlow, and Olivia Newton John, this is the Main Event concert, in full. Enjoy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qd-USQDe9dg.html
As Doc commented down below, another song that John has some fun with is 'That's What Love Will Make You Do'. Well worth a look. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OhtNMU-CHZc.html
