So what they're playing in is a dedicated server for Role Play not technically GTA Online like normal ppl. The server they're on is called No Pixel where you have to apply to gain access into the server. But yeah basically its like living a normal life inside a game. You could be a normal citizen with a job and what not or just like GTA Elements everything and anything is up to you rob ppl kill ppl become mayor etc. But the main thing is you have at most times role play the situation you're in.
