Anthrax bass player Frank Bello gave a panel at Steel City Con March 2023 to talk about his music, his experiences, and to answer fan questions.
Frank Bello was a roadie for Anthrax before their bass player left and he auditioned for the band and joined. This was soon after the release of the band’s 1984 debut album Fistful of Metal. He did leave the band briefly in 2004 to join the band Helmet, but returned the following year and continues to play with the band. He has also published an autobiography entitled Fathers, Brothers, and Sons: Surviving Anguish, Abandonment, and Anthrax. It was written with British author Joel McIver. It is available here: amzn.to/3KzRzHU
This panel was recorded on March 31st, 2023, and moderated by Kyle Williamson
