@@georgeman9476 i will never forget the 17, bro..but remembering it,makes my life crumble,as the MH 17 2nd Pilot, Late Firdhaus,I used to babysitted him(his elder brother happens to be my classmate).... Thanks anyway...
Part of this video was shot in an old theatre in Union City, New Jersey. The first 7 or 8 rows of the theatre seating had been removed, leaving metal stubs in the concrete. They were covered up with carpet fragments and duct tape. During the Mosh Pit scene, we kept tripping over the duct tape on the floor and causing everyone to trip over each other. I think 3 or 4 takes. It was an awesome time. Of course I was hoping to actually get in the video, but no such luck. Oh well, it was one of the most awesome times I've EVER had. Thanks Anthrax!
William Stoutenburgh I was too young to go but I remember my favorite metal radio show announcing that if anyone wanted to be in the Indians video they should go to the address that they gave over the radio.
William Stoutenburgh I literally grew up blocks from that theater it's still there but it's like a church or some something like dat, growing up a metal head we would always hear about dat, da story dat dey filmed Indians ( Anthrax ) there always thought it was bullshit cuz back den in 87 there was no Metal scene at all except for me and my few friends dats it in Union City S/O to Christian Machado 🤘
Joey wears an actual headdress and sprints all over the stage, if you've never seen them live. The boys from NYC are far more spastic than The Circle Jerks and Black Flag combined. Damn, they were great and I've seen them twice. 1st time with Ozzy, 2nd with ACDC. !!!!! "Cry for the Indians" !!!!!
Im in the crowd. We all ran up to Union City after highschool to be in this video. Im somewhere in that mosh pit. So much fun back then. We would be at LAmoures in Brooklyn to see all these shows.
I'm a Chippewa Indian and member of the White Earth band. I'm also a drummer of 59 yrs. Thanks to Anthrax and many other bands that have songs about the Native Americans. Horns up! 🤘🏼
Anthrax é a banda mais "Gente boa" do Big Four,os caras eram e ainda são moleques até hoje, vivem zoando nos shows e os clipes são engraçados pra caramba. Essa é a banda que todo Skatista gostaria de ter.
Charlie Benante has always been a beast on the drums but in "Indians" he is simply Extraordinary, he bursts it with sticks full of quality and good taste: MASTER🙏. Greetings from Chile🇨🇱.
Let's talk about how good the drumming for this song sounded I mean some people forget that Anthrax's had one of the best but most underrated thrash metal drummers in the business
Same with Jeff Waters, John Connelly, D.D Verni, Matt Heafy, Paolo Gregoletto, Muhammed Suiçmez, and pretty much every short haired/bald metal musician had hair at one point
Only thrash, c'mon man what was the rap and punk crap. Seriously they should have been replaced by Testament in the big 4. These guys were a bit too silly with their logos and cover art and mix of wrap and punk.
Mastodon Joe hip hop had the east coast west coast ... so did metal except in metal it wasnt a war it was one side of the country was going crazy on it first than bands like exodus anthrax came out to help push the thrash scene
Lol I just went to Cherokee NC past Gatlinburg Tn and met some of the Cherokee tribe. They very nice and so wise! The USA is made up of so many cultures and let us not forget our Brethren and Sisterens of Native America! Bless them they are Awesome!
Shot at the old Park Theater, Union City NJ. I was there. They did a full set for everyone. Moshing around Danny and Joey was fucking unforgettable. WAR DAAAAAAAAAAAANCE!!!!!!
I'm not native American but I have all due respect.for the native American.also . Anthrax will and have always rock your ears off and that's that. Part of the big four.
I used to visit the local record shop and buy these albums and more alot more way back in 1987......The album cover art alone in those days could easily sell singles believe me
We all lament when we are teens.. music has been our release..then.. now sadly our children lament with a different tune.. and from their elders.. that kill
Fizeram um show aqui em Fortaleza Ceara no Castelão no dia 24 de março de 2016 pra mais de 25 mil pessoas, foi muito show pena que essa galerinha daqui esta mais preocupada em tira selfie no celular do que curti o show
Found these guys yesterday by Fight Em Till The End (sorry if thats not the right name) from that old Zombie Broadcast where it said something like “The bodies of the dead are rising and attacking the living”. Ive haven’t heard old school metal like this in a very long time! Fucking sweet!
You should listen to the rest of Among the Living. It's by far their best album and you'll love it if you liked Fight 'em. That song Fight 'em is off of Worship Music, and is a newer album. It's also very strong. Persistence of Time is also high on the list and doesn't disappoint.
