Okay guys, I don´t like Anthrax that much, but here's a setlist: Caught in a Mosh: 12:04 Madhouse: 18:00 Antisocial: 22:41 Indians: 29:06 Fight 'em 'til You Can't: 37:05 Only: 44:00 Refuse/Resist: 49:43 I Am The Law: 50:42
I'm no sure, but i think Ian was at his child birth this day. That's why he isn't there. Anyway, Andreas Kisser did a great job. As we say in Brazil: Toca muito!
At this period of time, I think Anthrax sounded the best live out of the big 4. Joe's voice is amazing and not to dis-similar to when he first joined the band.
No way. You can like Anthrax more than the rest of the bands but Metallica were the best out of all those bands performance-wise. Joey's voice here isn't very good, Slayer weren't good live either at that time, Megadeth played great but Mustaine's voice was already gone by that time. Metallica were top notch though, always have been. During this time Hetfield didn't have much grit, but he still sang better than the rest of the guys combined.
Very glad I got to see Anthrax back when they had all original members. It was on the Persistence of Time tour. The opening acts were Primus & Public Enemy. What a great show!! It was only about 20 yrs ago that's all. Anyway, I remember the 1st time I heard Anthrax & was blown away by Charlie Benante's drumming, especially on Among The Living. Everything he played seemed so damn effortless. Perfection...
That is a real respect to his wife. A lot of others wouldn't have. That's why I have a lot of respect for him. And the band means a lot to him. But Familia means a lot. Only a few band members remember their familia.
I wondered that myself: (from Wiki) "On June 21, 2011 Ian's wife Pearl Aday gave birth to their first child, thus forcing Ian to briefly depart from Anthrax's tour. Andreas Kisser from Sepultura filled in."
Yah- -I am an American in former America now stolen bidenland. Metal just never really took off and my home country like it did in Europe in South America. But I have to agree with you-RU-vid videos I watched especially Iron Maiden ones: South Americans go nuts! Keep the faith south of the equator brothers and sisters!
Damn! How cool is this? The GREAT Andreas Kisser! I love Anthrax. I love Scott Ian--met him many times--helluva nice guy. Damn. Sepultura back in the day--late 80's and early 90's. I listened to them non stop in my undergrad years in college. Sep still good today, just a bit different without the brothers. Anyways. What a nice surprise. Actually you can easily tell Andreas sound over Scott's.
This is the best band Andreas played in :-) Much respect to Sepultura ofcourse, but Anthrax i my favo band since I listen to metal. TMHO they deserve to be part of the big 4!
Andreas is a bad ass. Guy goes full throttle everytime. Great job filling in for Scott. Makes wish for the old days...Sepultura...when they were a killing machine. One can always hope.
in any latinamerican city this would be the best Anthrax concert ever recorded!! ... Este concierto en cualquier ciudad Latinoamericana hubiera sido épico!!
+N.A.L Nathan (kittkatt101) tough call, I usually like Joey better. He does well on "Only", but I may actually like Bush better on that one (never thought I would say that). I was at the show in some tiny venue in San Francisco when they tested out Bush (I think it was Trocadero). CRAZY show!!!
It's not because of the quality of Anthrax's music that they're there, it's because they were one of the more popular thrash bands and helped popularize thrash in the 80s & 90s.
Irmãos, eu assisti o primeiro ufc ao vivo, se for pra gênios passou pelo MMA,mas poatan véi é levantou o esporte novamente, Força de vontade parabéns. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
SEPULTURA's Andreas Kisser is filling in for ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian at 11 shows in July while Ian spends time with his family following the birth of his first child.
Sucks Scott missed this show, but it's bad ass seeing Andreas thrash out. Similar to how I randomly saw Chuck Billy sing for Exodus once, filling in because their singer was gonna be late.
Que grande andreas kisser puede hasta con anthrax una de las mejores bandas de thrash metall americanas i del mundo es una auténtica máquina de puro thrash metall
