Nice collection of Anthuriums. I also find that some look very similiar so I have tried to get the more unique looking ones. Your collection helped me come to some conclusions about the different types. Thanks
Nice anthurium collection. Looks like quite a few will need bigger pots soon. Also, Claris (from Mexico) are more like succulents and with their thick roots prefer to stay on the drier side. 😊
This is such informative content Genna, love the cabinet set up. I learned more about anthuriums and thrips in this episode than anything I’ve watched. Can you share what it looks like when anthurium has thrip on the emerging leaf?
I'm glad you found it helpful! What do you mean, like what do the adults look like? When they're in the emerging leaves you often can't see them at all until the leaves get a bit bigger because they're all curled up. The damage pattern is the same though
@@gennasplants that’s exactly what I meant. Thank you again, I love the content you put out. I get so excited when I see a new episode because I know I’m going to learn something new.
your nse rc is probably not a mutation but a self seedling, hencewise variation as the orginal nse rc is a very complex hybrid originally from mr tim anderson
@@gennasplants ofc! just wanted to clarify, as its not the correct information. also got two from enids batches (was a pain in the ass to get it to germany but im so excited) and cant wait to see it grow!
it was more the weird speckling on the leaves with irregular distribution that made me think variegation/mutation. It reminded me of other variegated/mutated seedlings I've seen. Maybe it was more prominent on the older leaves than the ones I showed.
