This was a very helpful video on Anthurium care. I have an Anthurium plant that I am very fond of that I have moved to a high shelf after watching this video. I had no idea that Anthurium was toxic to people and pets. I am very appreciative of the knowledge that Anthurium requires bright light in order to flower. I have been wondering for a year or so after purchasing my plant as to why he will not flower. I am going to keep him in the window and try a portable grow light in order to help remedy the issue. Thanks again for the information, my Anthurium plant thanks you too! 👍
I just bought my plant today and this video was so helpful. By watching the video I understand a lot now about the plant thank you so much for helping me I am. Excited with my new plant.
My daughter gave me this plant for my birthday. She also gave me this plant one Mother’s Day. Now I have 2 of these plants which I love so much because they give constant blooms. Beautiful. I didn’t know it’s poisonous!
Well, I burned my anthurium’s only flower last week because I put it in direct Sun for a few days thinking it’s not getting enough Sun at home. It’s still has lot of new growth with red tint on some leaves, so there hope. I need to repot it but after watching this video, I’ll wait to pick up the bonemeal before doing so as you’re the second person I heard this from... Thanks for confirming.
Great complete video for growing Anthuriums, I found it so useful for my first time beautiful plant, do you have a video for growing Birds of Paradise plants?
My husband said they're burnt because they're not getting enough light...in regards to mine [not yours]. Such a beautiful plant smh about to lose another one!⚰⚱ I did put it outside for a lil today after I watered it only because I think I put too much by accident. Artificial plants are my BFF♡
Just watched. Thanks for the simplification. I love mine and want to keep it thriving. I have had about two months and just lost my first blooms. Trimmed away dead stuff. Wish me luck💚🪴
A good informative video vowever need advice why mist of the leaves are browning around ghd edges and then these keaves dventuslly die.I have kept it in a room away from direct sunlight but with enough light exposure
Hi😊 Any tips for those who have this plant who live in the desert/So Cali? Will it be too hot come this summer/triple digits/humid? I just was given this plant in Dec & some of the leaves are already getting brown spots. Thanks in advance for your time. Peace.
Plz clear my doubt If the plant is poisonous Then why it's grown indoor or kept for growing. Also can this plant be grown in water I am a beginner so Plz guide Thank you
Yes sea weed extract provides nice micronutrients to all plants whether indoor or outdoor. Use of alum if ph change is needed like here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zlHHP39wctg.html
Dr Saab is it necessary to use egg shell powder and bone meal powder together or separately ?Now iam using egg shell powder+ banana peels powder This iam using for my flowering and fruiting plants Can I use it when the plants are with full of fruits ? Ur advice pl
Egg shell and bone meal both are slow release fertilizers. Adding early in growth phase of a plant helps supply the nutrients. Adding during flowering or fruiting stage may help in the next cycle.
@garden tips i had mine for 2 months thriving very happy im scared to repot due to some leaves growing and tiny flowers, roots start to come out inthe pot, is it time to repot it?
Hii... I just bought a anthurium today. From nursery its given in plastic tub. Should i change it or keep it in plastic tub. Next what fertiliser i need ?? Thanx
Anthurium doesn't need soil.. it grows and blooms better in coconut husk or in wood powder my home is full of this thing. I have never used soil for anthurium.
@@prashanthigowda5277based on plant health you can provide Fertilizer. Every 3 months once you can give Fertilizer on cycle process. It’s better to go for organic Fertilizer.
So i received a small plant in a pot with soil of anthurium flower as a gift. Its turning colder here now with more overcast. So during the night i have been bringing my small anthurium plant indoors. I have made sure not to overwater it. But my beautiful pink leaves are turning green. What can i do to help it live past winter? It was bought from a store (like a supermarket not a plant nursery).
I started to put mines outside but read that the maximum temp is 90 and it's gets way above that in Alabama in the Summer time so I kept mines inside. Is the 90 degree mark and gone one?
