The reason why these products are so expensive is because of the yrs of testing the company has put in the process. Also you're paying for good, high quality ingredients. When you buy products that are significantly cheaper, you're paying for a product with less quality ingredients.
@@azurabrumme5644 yes I understand that. But I am sure there are some drugstore products that are somewhat similar or comparable. I asked for a drugstore routine because this I simply cannot afford.
Oh Susan I love seeing you doing your skincare cuz u keep smiling the whole time while applying your products as if you're on your own and there's no camera,it's how I use my skincare products as well 😄
Great tutorial. 👍 all I can say is ur plant based cream is nothing like anything I've ever tried! I am hooked hooked hooked. And ur rice cleanser too. I so look forward to using both at end of my evening. I'll be trying more from ur line too. Thanks
I'm using that Naturium 3% Niacinamide Cleansing Gelee for the first time now and wow, it's an amazing gel cleanser! Such a nice, luxurious texture and so hydrating yet cleanse properly!
I agree about getting better with age. I look better in my mid-30s than my mid-20s. Especially since 29 I incorporated - good skin care, regular facials, collagen drinks and vitamins, working out, no alcohol and smoking, cutting down sugar, postive mindset and self-growth.
I'm taking a FB and IG break. So glad I can hear and see your beauty advice here. I'm am going to be on the hunt for ginseng and sandalwood products that are in my budget and try the routine that you shared on this video. I have been wanting to try the wand and so far I like the routine you present. Some videos just say try with a clean or freshly washed face but the products you are using makes sense when fighting the lymphatic tissues. Great information! Thanks 😊
I love Sulwhasoo as a brand. I have tried several products from them, and so far, I really like it. I love their First Care Activating Serum, Overnight Vitalizing Mask, and Essential Firming Cream. I have not tried the Concentrated Ginseng line, but if I have the budget and I want to treat myself, the Concentrated Ginseng line will be on my list. Although the serum and the cream are expensive, I agree, I must say that I am impressed when I look at the overview of the technologies that Amorepacific (the company that owns Sulwhasoo) have to extract the ginseng's components (I am studying Cosmetic Science, so I am pretty intrigued when learning about new skincare technologies). Therefore, I think that the Concentrated Ginseng line definitely worths a try!
Can i have your opinion of sulwhasoo’s serums??? I really want to buy it but it contains denatured alcohol and pretty high on the list too. Since ur in cosmetic science, will u know if thats BS or not???
@@steffyxx I haven't tried all of the Sulwhasoo's serum. As far as the First Care Activating Serum, I really like it. It's hydrating, and it makes my skin brighter and not as dull (as I can say "energized", I guess). In terms of alcohol, my take on it is that we cannot look at a single ingredient and judge the whole product. I am still in the process of learning, so I would say I am not "qualified" to talk about the ingredients and its interaction with the skin because it is pretty complex for general consumers (and even for me right now). You can watch and follow Michelle from Lab Muffin Beauty Science to have a little more understanding about alcohols (spoiler alerts: denatured alcohol is not bad like people think). However, as far as I could say is that using the product, it is hydrating despite that it has denatured alcohol in it because it has a lot of different herbs extracts and humectants that helps hydrate, and deliver the "claims" that the product has. I'm talking too much now lol, but the key point is that you have to try the products, don't let the fear of a single ingredients steer you away from a formula that could be amazing for you :)))
@@ThinhTran-vk2jk u didn’t talk too much 😄 I really appreciate you taking the time to respond, I think I’ll take a look at labmuffin’s videos like u suggested.
Love this routine! Pls do a serum with all the brightening ingredients for hyperpigmentation along side retinol. I would purchase it within a heartbeat! Love @naturium and @susanyara
I just ordered a solawave myself. I’m really interested to see what it does for my skin. I’m 44 almost 45 and just starting to notice a real change in my skin especially my under eyes. So we will see. I also just places an order on your brand I can’t wait to see how my skin reacts. I take pride in my skin care and makeup. So really excited.
Have you seen any results with the solawave? I plan to purchase it but I want to make sure I am not melting the existing fat in my skin. I don't want my face to look hollow. Dr. Ray just made a video today discussing these forms of therapy and potential damage. I am going to watch it after this video.
@@DoItWrightRo yes I have but only in the texture of my skin around my cheek area. It of course isn’t anything major but I can tell a difference. Too bad they’re isn’t a magic want for my wrinkles. Lol
@@DoItWrightRo so do I. I hardly use anything else anymore. I love their glowy sunscreen. Best one I have ever used that doesn’t break me out. Also the cleaners and body washes are so so good.
Expensive for most! I will stick with cereve products a lot more affordable. I’ve used some of your products I bought at Target they are nice but I went back to more affordable and using cereve and Tretinoin working good for me
@@jmsoffice8961 nothing against Susan I’m sure she has products given to her to try. If your able to spend $$$ on these products that’s great but unfortunately a lot of us cannot afford to spend that much.
Can you please answer my question. I’ve started using your skin care. Is it ok to use niacinamide serum before putting retinol? And do you need to use moisturizer before or after retinol if your using the play retinol 24rs thank you
I have been eyeing that SkinCeuticals photo A+ gel. And then you posted this! Would you use that for a daytime moisturizer? Or would you recommend that for a daytime moisturizer to somebody else who maybe doesn’t have dry skin?
Ugh I love this. I always get confused on what moisturizer to use at night because sometimes I don’t need a thick one but then if I do my skincare early in the night I slather it on so it can soak in before I go to sleep
This is super helpful! I'd love to see a similar routine with budget-friendly products, especially devices, if they even exist. I would love to purchase items like NuFace or red light therapy to help my edging-on-40-year-old skin, but I have a small child, and I have major guilt dropping large amounts of coin on skincare or thinking of procedures like thread lift. (P.S. Your video on TL moved that procedure way up on my wish list! My area where my jaw meets my neck is starting to show the beginning of "turkey neck" after years of fluctuating weight gain/loss, and it looks like the perfect option for me. Thank you for that!)
You shouldn't feel bad about spoiling yourself with good quality products. Momma's need that self care time. There's so many options out there to help people pay for products. I personally like Afterpay 😊
@@azurabrumme5644 Exactly! I will pay it every 2 weeks, or off earlier. If momma doesn't look good, she feels bad about herself. This can play out in one's mood often creating room for mental health breakdowns or worsening of latent symptoms.
I thought, that the Retinol cream or Serum, put directly on the face, before any serums or cremes put on. I think, thats my fault, because my skin is very dry and crusty on the next day. And therefore i stopped using Retinol serum 😞 how should I use this now? Thanks for answer
Blew my mind with the advice do not use hyleronic acid under eyes or on eyelids at night unless you want to wake up with puffy eyes. 🤯 Why did I not get that earlier?!
Hi Susan.. not seeing the medicate product listed? However can you list the affordable translation of the retinol product... one were we can get the most bang from our buck... ? Thanks!
I absolutely do Botox, mostly around my crow's feet. I used to do filler, but I decided to stop, but I keep it in my lips. I have a video on it here on this channel.
I just ordered that wand and from the research I did you aren’t actually supposed to use it with actives like retinol. It’s suggested to use the red light therapy wand in the morning and retinol at night (retinol = when you aren’t in the sun or exposed to uv). I have the FOREO Bear that is only microcurrent that I plan on using at night.
@@KimberAnneWolf Thank you for the information! I thought so too, since retinol is light sensitive (not only just UV). Great suggestion on the FOREO, I might give that a go. Thanks!
I don't hate fragrance existing but I just wish it was the exception and not the norm. I use 0.1% tretinoin, 20% l ascorbic acid Vitamin C, I get 30% glycolic acid done during hydrafacials and get no irritation at all. But if there is fragrance more than 1% I will turn beat red and my face will BURN. I don't have sensitive skin.... and I think this is common enough that fragrance should be in only like 25% or less of products. I feel like infuencers are now saying fragrance is perfectly fine but that's going to cause products to start using them again in EVERYTHING. Anyone could develope a fragrance allergy at any point and so it doesn't seem like a big deal until it happens to you. And this isn't some rare allergy where you can just avoid some random ingredient. Fragrance is in most products and it doesn't help the skin at all. Again, I don't think it should be banned but it still should not be promoted as the norm.
Great but none of these products are available where I live ... Secondly can't really afford so much...not that I don't care for my skin .. I do use serums and retiniod and tretinion as well...
I feel it’s too much product for night time routine. Some of the women/Men I know use very limited products and have flawless and firm skin. I feel all the products are just overrated. Skin just needs gentle cleansing, exfoliation ( weekly/ bi weekly depending on skin type) and moisturizer. Focus on simple ingredients and not the brand.
Susan talks abt lots of products they never really has a one product whoever pays them they promote this is reality... u will never see them use one product for years or for some time
I'm confused why you would do the eye cream after the wand...also...would have been nice to tell us more affordable comparable items. $200 for a serum? Girl bye.
look at her skin lots of sunburn pigments, and wrinkles, and she looks matured enough so dnt get fooled.. even with lots of procedures and botox etc their skin still dst look any younger or better
Let's see her move her forehead. Lol. Of course she loves the way her skin looks at 40. It's the botox and fillers. Lol. I'm sure I'd love my skin too after spending $1000 a month on treatments. 👍😂
I really liked watching your videos and even tried product recommendations by you. But after coming across the fact that you promoted naturium products without disclosing your association with the brand in the past, I am sad to say that you have lost your credibility to me. Its difficult to tell now whether your product reviews are honest or biased.
