Here is a sneak peek at my Anti-Aging Facial Pilates Routine!
I was introduced to these exercises by my 80 year old grandmother, and if you could see her you'd be doing these exercises every day too! She has a beautiful glow to her skin, it's absolutely flawless and smooth. She credits this all to her facial exercise routine!
Your facial muscles play a critical role in the contouring and shaping of your face. These exercises increase circulation, improving the blood flow to your face to give you a healthy glow.
They also work the muscles that lie underneath the skin to not only assist with firming, lifting and toning the face, but also decreasing the tension that causes fine lines.
This routine only takes 10 minutes per day, you can do it anytime, anywhere: watching TV, in the shower, waiting at the traffic lights or even standing in line at the supermarket (not for the faint hearted!)

I’m 49, and lately I’ve been seeing saggy, crepey skin under my chin/neck area, and I’ve lost a lot of the fat in my face, so it’s been looking almost gaunt. I started doing these exercises only a week ago, and I can already feel the muscles in my face getting stronger (and the exercises easier to do!) but I am so amazed at the difference I already see in my face! Everything just looks tighter, lifted, younger! Even the lines around my eyes have smoothed out! I absolutely plan on keeping this up, and thank you for sharing this ULTIMATE beauty routine!

I’m so happy to read this comment because I have the same problem as well: my face lost a lot of fat (from sleep loss and other factors) and my cheeks sagged downward creating strong nasolabial folds. Anyway, it’s always a concern (or a fear really) that facial exercises will slim my face even more. I’m happy to hear these exercises don’t do that. If beautiful Lisa has any insight on gaining fuller cheeks I would really appreciate it ❤️

It's been a couple of weeks for me and I am blown away at the results already. My body overall has always responded quickly to exercise and this is no different. It's taken a decade off my look in just two weeks. The main differences are in the tighter under eye area...the age related bagginess is gone. And the double-chin has disappeared, as well. No amount of weight-loss and techniques to correct a double-chin ever worked for me, but this one did!

@@josephgeorge7385 I started seeing changes in just a few days. It really tightens and firms everything up. Especially around the neck/jowls for me. Without this routine I can feel my neck jiggle when I shake my head. lol

My mum did similar facial exercise all her life, and when she died in her nineties she had hardly a wrinkle. All her life she seemed ageless.

@@eva-mariajantzen5064 No need to see a photograph, just try it for yourself. My mum did not even do the exercises every day. She was gettong a loose double chin in her fifties, but after a few weeks of exercises it went away. And she kept it at bay by doing those exercises. They really work. She hardly used creams. She had some cream with copper from Italy that she used occasionally and she used ponds cream or lanolin, but very sparingly. She used good quality olive oil in her cooking. I think she washed her face with mild soap.

My grandmother never did facial exercises, never moisturized her skin. She wash her face with cold water from the well and was always working outside. When she died she barely had any wrinkles.

I look ridiculous during the Long O Cheek pull- but these exercises are totally worth it!! I’ve been doing for 3 weeks now and I promise I look 5 years younger! My defined laugh lines have SIGNIFICANTLY softened and plumped up the area around my mouth. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing these exercises with the world!

Oh my, thank you so much! I've been doing this regularly for just a week now, I can't believe I have actually built up muscle in my cheeks! I am 43 and for the last couple of years my age really started showing, my skin felt thin and drooping, now it's starting to feel like a firm baby bum 😂 Unbelievable, I had previously thought all those face manipulations were pointless. Thank you so much for this exercise. I’ve been doing it for several months now and I’m feeling good about the results. My jawline is more defined and my lips look fuller, especially the upper one. Oh boy! I discovered this video 5 days ago. Since then I've been practicing every morning and the results are great. At first, I couldn't believe how little control I had over the muscles, especially the "squinting", but things have improved a lot. Thank you, Lisa. I came here with sharp pain from TMJ and teeth grinding. I've been getting better only marginally every day this week. Your exercises gave me more relief than my massages and pain meds. Subscribed! Update - I now have braces 😬 for the 2nd time in my life. I have not had a TMJ issue since the braces went in. Invisalign must be keeping me from grinding or clenching.

Oh gosh, that was a workout! My face muscles were trembling at times! This is the easiest, quickest routine that I know I can stick to daily and involves very little touching with fingers. Thank you so much. You are incredibly beautiful and I love your accent 💕

Lovely experience, thank you --the visualization at the end, and for giving me the challenge to locate and isolate muscles below and above my eyeballs: wowee.. I am 76, do sometimes (and pre-covid,, when I taught a class for seniors) stretch the face muscles by opening the mouth and eyes wide, holding, then releasing, or, tightening everything, holding, releasing (as can be done with the whole body, at once.). Stay well,feel beautiful on the inside, too: it shines outward.

4 days later and my face is feeling so much tighter if that makes sense, literally like my face is going to the gym every day. I’m also trying to do this twice a day so very tuned for the results in a couple of weeks UPDATE: 1 week later, definitely seeing defined cheekbones!! UPDATE: 2 weeks later and I can control my face muscles so much better + I feel prettier and more confident. My jawline is noticeably sharper and around my eyes feels toned. UPDATE: 1 month later and still going strong. At this point if I can maintain the results it would be good enough 👍 UPDATE: 2 months later and I swearr by my cheekbone results. I can clearly see the shadow defining them. 6 months later update: i dont know why i stopped for a few months bc i lost the results, but now that i started doing them “twice” again for 2 weeks the results are back and they are amazing. My face and neck are tight and sculpted. The jawline and cheekbones look so nice. Consistency is definitely the key here!!! I also focus on the first 3 exercises rather than the rest. *I am 24 for the reference but suffer from a puffy face and a bit of a double chin.

Uplifting in more ways than 1! 😃 Thank you Lisa 💕 I actually really enjoyed these exercises, you explained them perfectly which made them super easy.It’s now 15 mins later and my face is still buzzing like muscles do after a good work out (so I can verify they really make the facial muscles work!!) I’ve been stuck in bed for almost 3 weeks with intense pain & spinal neuropathy from a chronic condition I which flares up and just floors me.So I get super bored, and a bit low. I was looking for exercises I can do in bed and am so pleased I found you! I’m hoping you have more I can do laid down, would you recommend any particular ones please? Kindest wishes, Namaste 🙏 x

I’ve always been slim with a chubby face and it made me insecure for the longest time. Not only was I puffy but my face was saggy too which made me look sad all the time. I hated it. I found this video a week ago and it’s been a game changer. I love the muscle awareness my face has gained. My face looks more structured, symmetrical and sculpted, which has helped immensely with the sagging and my overall self esteem. I combine these exercises with a facial massage sequence for lymphatic drainage that I had been doing prior to this. I can’t wait to see the long term results Thank you so much Lisa❤

I’ve had great results… I do these while driving and the eye/forehead results started VERY quickly… I am also seeing visible results in the ‘mariachi line’ area (but they are harder to do while driving lol)… A stranger even made a comment about my ‘sister’, when referring to my 32yo daughter… I’ll take it!! 🤩🤩 Thanks so much, Lisa!! Not sure I can undo the lines I’ve already gained at my age of 55 but I like these so I’ll give them a go. 55 is still young! I'm 63 and in two weeks my face has already transformed quite a bit. It looks more youthful and refreshed. I think a healthy sleep routine and drinking plenty of water helps, too. I make sure I'm covering all the bases. I also use a stepper exerciser every day. I think improving the blood circulation really helps.

I came across this video while scrolling through my RU-vid. Which I found interesting because just today I was feeling depressed about how much I look like I've aged recently and how tired I look. Stress has taken it's tole. I will be 62 in a few days and I've always looked young for my age but not recently. I did the one facial exercise I know just before finding your video. I just finished going through the exercises with you and I'm not going to lie my facial muscles feel like they've been worked out. I will be doing these religiously. Just watched a video about lip lines. I’m looking into how to get rid of mine. One of the things the dermatologist said was pursing your lips makes lip lines whether it’s from smoking or speaking repetitively making a pattern of person your lips makes lip lines old age lines where your lipstick bleeds into them as you age. My point is be careful with these ones that pucker your lips

Thank you so much!!! The one where I am making an "O" Shape is actually stretching the top of the lip out, which will help to smooth out and tone the top of the lip area. Instead of "puckering" the lips like a kiss, it is more of a round shape that smooths out the skin above the lip, think of a duck bill shape...does that make sense? x

I've always done facial exercises that I made up, but boy do these work! I could really feel each one of these! I will be doing these now!💕 I always wondered why people will exercise their bodies to increase muscle and look better, but they inject their faces to paralyze their muscles! Just doesn't make sense to me! I have a friend that I've known since high school and she has had 2 face lifts (one upper, one lower) she gets botox all the time, and lip fillers! I've done none of that (just skincare and exercises) and (I don't mean this like, look at me I'm better, but) my face and skin looks better that hers. It makes me sad because she was already so pretty and now she doesn't look the same.

Hello Lisa ! Thank you for workout but had a couple questions how many reps for each exercise I notice you did about 10 reps for neck , only 3 for lips and maybe five for cheeks more for lower eyes and only 3 reps for forehead . So is there reason for difference in reps for different parts of face? What would be ideal rep range for each exercise and can and should this be done every day or how many times a week to get benefit without overtraining facial muscles and possibly doing more harm than good. Aloha LIsa, I teach exercise for my surgical weight lose patients. This is the first time having them do facial exercises. Which is very important with all the weight loss. We definitely could feel all the muscles in our face being worked. I challenged them to take before pictures this week, then we'll take pictures again at the end of our 9-week class series. Been doing these just for a week and a half. I'm 67 and a former smoker so I've got some wrinkle issues going on for sure, especially around my mouth. The upper lip lines are awful and are getting worse regardless of the exercises I've been doing (have been doing another face yoga routine as well). I don't get how the lip pucker is supposed to smooth those lines, though. I would think it would make them worse. I frequently use a straw to drink my water but try to keep my lips in a Mona Lisa smile without puckering. Could You explain how the pucker works, Lisa, please? Also, my "11" lines and forehead lines, even when relaxed are always there now, and the lower lid lift I have a hard time with, can't quite get my lower lids to come up without my upper lids closing and furrowing my brow, which exacerbates the "11" lines. I'll keep at it, though, and hopefully I'll "get" it.

Before we start aging we should take care of our skin. I think that is a daily devotion and a lot of work. Once we get older not much can be done. I was satisfied with my skin until I was 58. No sagging, nothing. But then everything went downhill. I was not persistent but I tried for several months all kinds of face yoga and other exercises. For me it didn't work. So, I will probably refresh my face with some (not much) hyaluronic fillers or similar injections. I think that exercises are stretching my skin even more. Maybe cold water splashes all the time, gua sha etc., but I just don't have time for my body workout, then my eyes exercises, then my yoga face on this day that lasts only 24 hours.🙃

I like these exercises for the most part, with one exception: when I purse my lips and push forward, I'm definitely noticing some fine lines appearing in the upper lip. I can't figure out how to do this exercise without the lines forming, so I think I'll skip that one.

I just noticed the same thing after trying this for the first time. I feel like I'm going to create lip lines ("smokers lines"). I feel bad skipping that part of the face since I need it but I definitely don't want to create lines that I don't have. I wish there was another exercise that worked the same area without creating these lines. Update: I just found her facial exercise video from 1 year ago and it looks like she's replaced it with something much better.
