Hey Adam, the same thing happened in India under Facist rule of Mughal tyrant, Hindu temples were destroyed and mosques built right on top of the ruins of hindu temples, there was restriction for building new temples the old temples weren't allowed to be repaired and humiliation tax AKA Jizya was imposed on Hindus...... If there was an Islamic state in India it would have been under Aurangazeb...... Please invite Indian historians like Meenakshi Jain, Vikram Sampat...... Warning⚠️ be aware of Communist and Marxist historians who have white washed Hindu genocide by Facist muslim invaders..... It sounds like a law introduced by the Ottomans to try reducing the presence of Christianity in Egypt and elsewhere. I heard from a Christian friend of Indonesian Chinese heritage that although the Indonesian political constitution allows freedom of religion, by default of majority, Muslims in a city or town often try to hinder the building or renovation of churches. It has often led to certain neighborhoods and areas being compartmentalized into exclusively Islamic or Christian ones.

I am quite relieved if he is not ex-muslim. He is Egyptian, ex-Coptic Christian. I think he is quite objective and neutral. But the portion he criticizes Islam is greater, he has an unbalanced level of dislike. So the question is why did he leave the Coptic Christian faith? He didn't trust either side. So it's just a matter of waiting for rich Islamic people to fund it to create content to criticize Christianity. Please rich princes in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, etc fund him to take turns creating content criticizing Christianity. It's all about the ideological contractor, who can fund him more. ​
