He wasn't. He shows as enemy player in open world. I don't know why he surrendered so quickly, but I believe he had been demoralized by the long chase. His Trincomalee was gold quality with good upgrades. His cannons were all long cannons.
@@stub3379 I gave it away to the new player who was sticking with me throughout the chase and battle even though he never took any active part. Not even tagging the battle.
