Wow, someone making a reference to the pandemic??? Who woulda thought! It's not like fucking everyone else has been doing it nonstop in music and art for the past 2 years
Yellow Yellow I’ve listened to Mobilize so much that I can’t remember if I’ve actually seen them live or just had a very vivid dream about it. Kick ass show regardless. Especially when Spaz showed up.
I forget the name of the place, but I saw them at some pizza place in Pittsburgh. That was before either Chris was in the band. Would’ve been like 96/97. I was still in high school.
@@atthecore4560 Just an expression. In this case, I suppose I meant the US, or at least people willing to listen. Don't look to much into it, it's just an expression, as I mentioned.
@@kevingregory5579 I’m not. I agree with most of Anti-Flag’s messages and always have. I’ve been an Anti-Flag fan for the last 17 years. Their older stuff is more punk, but they got progressively more and more alternative than punk. Same story with Green Day. Just because I differentiate genres doesn’t mean I dislike the band or disagree with their politics, and the fact that that’s the first conclusion you jump to leads me to believe that you’re part of the problem. All this divisive bullshit that cuts this country’s population in half and has us at war with each other, is the problem. Nobody is willing to compromise or find middle ground. Your attitude, much like many other’s is “if you don’t align your views 100% with mine then you align your views 100% with the other guy.” It’s such a moronic black-and-white polarized way of thinking, and it’s close-minded as all hell. If your first reaction to me saying their sound and vibe no longer lines up with punk is to incorrectly assume I’m a die-hard republican, sort your priorities out. Your analysis skills are dogshit.
You know what, I along with many people here were duped into loving this band. Now I despise them. "The members of Anti-Flag have been awfully quiet. The Pittsburgh-based punk band, who once loudly championed progressive, social justice causes in their songs, suddenly broke up in July 2023 after a woman alleged that its frontman, Justin “Sane” Geever, violently raped her years prior. Not only did the long-time music outfit disband, they shut down their social media platforms and, besides releasing a handful of official statements, including one responding to a damning Rolling Stone article that detailed the many other accusations against Geever, disappeared from public view. Almost a year later, Geever and his former bandmates Pat “Thetic” Bollinger, Chris Head, and Chris Barker are being forced back into the spotlight. This time, it’s not only Geever being scrutinized, but the entire band, as a lawsuit seeks to hold all the men accountable for allegedly encouraging, enabling, and participating in the victimization of female fans, many of them underage. Kristina Sarhadi and her legal team released an amended complaint and request for a jury trial aimed at bringing Geever to justice. A statement provided to Pittsburgh City Paper on March 20 points out that Geever, facing “mounting legal pressure,” has “liquidated his assets, transferred money out of the country, and is planning to flee the United States according to new court filings.” The legal pressure includes a civil lawsuit filed in November 2023 by Sarhadi, who, during a podcast appearance, first accused a punk singer later revealed to be Geever of raping her in 2010 after meeting him at a show in Brooklyn. "
I’m an ex trump supporter, and honestly, I can’t believe how blind I was to the divide and suppress agenda he has been pushing. I feel so angry and so betrayed. I had put so much faith into him, and I was lied to the whole time, it wasn’t just him lying but the manipulation the media i waswatching was using. Two years ago I took an oath, promising my life if need be to the people and the constitution, I am proud to say i stand with all American people, we all need to be treated as the equals we are and not divided because of some old racists agenda. I stand against trump!
Trump is as bad as Biden, possibly worse. Jo Jorgensen 2020, a qualified woman finally. If this election isn’t enough to drive people to vote for a woman nothing will
Please... some people in congress have been there for 30-60 years and are blaming Trump (who's been there for 3 years) for practically all the problems going on right now even though they haven't fixed them for over 30 years. Look at CHAZ in Seattle. They built a wall around their territory to keep track of who goes in and out and basically appointed police to keep things civil. No different than what's already going on.... I'm all for police/prison reform, ending racism and becoming less dependant of government, but this BLM shit is a joke. Look at their campaign for defunding the police. They don't even have a plan, just a few statements and goals. Why protest for something when you don't even have a viable plan to replace what you're protesting? 🤦♂️
LYRICS[Donald Trump, spoken] “In the good old days, this doesn’t happen, because they used to treat them very, very rough. And when they protested once, they would not do it again so easily.” Hate conquers all In the ashes of the fall With our backs against the wall With our backs against the wall Watch the empire fall Watch the nation dissolve With our backs against the wall With our The new disorder of the impoverished nation-state The endless cycle, divide and manipulate Never give in to the sympathy Never give in to reality No one could save us so build up and lock the gate Never give in to a sensory Never give in to the honesty No one could save us Hate conquers all In the ashes of the fall With our backs against the wall With our backs against the wall Watch the empire fall Watch the nation dissolve With our backs against the wall With our backs against the wall The same masters who made us their fucking slaves Are now our saviors I'm so sick of needing to be saved Never give in to the sympathy Never give in to reality No one could save us [Donald Trump, spoken] "And you know what? The audience swung back. And I thought it was very appropriate. The audience hit back. And that's what we need a little bit more of." Hate conquers all In the ashes of the fall With our backs against the wall With our backs against the wall Watch the empire fall Watch the nation dissolve With our backs against the wall With our backs against the wall Hate conquers all In the ashes of the fall With our backs against the wall With our backs against the wall Watch the empire fall Watch the nation dissolve With our backs against the wall Hate conquers Hate conquers all
I wish they changed that lyric slightly. The same master that parade us as our fucking slaves. Our now I saviours that are sick and needing to be saved.
@Adrian Anarchism and human autonomy is what I have the most interest in siding with. Not milquetoast liberal capitalism or reactionary fascist authoritarianism, or any flavor of bullshit in between. Why not just side with freedom and equality?
LOL. Same thing happened to Machine Head, Ministry, Stray From the Path, and even Sacred Reich. People are so fucking stupid. These bands have always been political.
Really? Cause I think this sucks. Until now, the most recent Anti-Flag I had listened to was For Blood and Empire. This crap is a HUGE step down from their classic stuff
"In the good old days this doesn't happen because they used to treat them very rough". A good reminder that of the long history of supressing freedom of expression in freedomcountry.

Punk is (normally) about rebeillon angainst something you find injust but you can’t really say Punk=antifa Skinhead=Nazi I also hear lot of people saying skinhead=naziskin...skinhead was initially a economical movement ,there are as well naziskins, antifa skins (S.H.A.R.P) and apolitical skins...same for black metal ,there is National Socialist Black Metal but also a lot of antifascist BM (RABM)...but hey, Nazi punks fuck off!
I love Green Day, Offspring, Nofx... But Anti-Flag is definitely the best punk rock group in 2020. Since the beginning they are so good but so underrated. Live or studio they're still so awesome. D-13 before the new album.
@@ryanmason2044 it's been like that for 3 days now but when they just changed it, it was only when you clicked on the video it had that name on it. Next to the thumbnail it was AntiFlagVEVO

Completely stoked for the new anti-flag album it’s going to be amazing, also if anyone’s wondering the album covers background the horse is Winfield Scott Memorial in Washington DC.
Plenty of people are illegal they come from all over Ice took this illegal brit the other day. Should have come the right way people like that make it harder for the families that do it the right way
@@thisperson2963 We shouldn't be focusing our energy and anger at other poor working class families struggling to survive because they were born in the wrong place. Insted we should be focusing our anger and energy upwards at the super wealthy, the people who actually harm american workers.
@@maddhatta1016 Why are you on an Anti-Flag video, then? Makes no sense, hence "anti flag" hence forget the arbitrary laws of a country that was built on the backs of natives and on the bones of slaves . and by their own definition, these often white American leaders are then even more illegal than the ones who were already on this land. Those they call "illegal" are those whose ancestors were most certainly Native Americans. The irony! These so called "illegals" have more right to these lands than many dare to admit
@@carpediem7981 didn't Britain have a "war" with the natives, and the colonies go to war with Great Britain. To the victor go the spoils, hence the Treaty of Versailles and the start of ww2.
omfg yessss! I used to love this is the end and it was one of the most controversial but needed pieces of music when I was a teenager. Literally got me into therapy and to stop cutting and now you make this masterpiece. Thank you anti-flag
@@Severance8859 um yeah HIGHLY disagree. Christian Nationalists especially Christian Ethno Nationalists (the type who think America is the new Jerusalem and a giant bulk of Trump's supporters) have been trying to wear down America's checks and balances to bring us closer and closer to a full on Theocracy and they get closer with each decade. Now I admit theres about a third of Christians who are actually super cool and liberal or leftist and have been showing up to protest alongside ANTIFA and BLM. That honestly did surprise me and turn down my scorn for them. However we learned a great bulk of white cis het atheists were almost as much of ethnonationalists as the bible belt Christians are (as well as hating LGBT people and the poor), thus Trumps success. Honestly same! I'm not that big on Sum 41, but I just love hearing something different in general. I like the new sound. I love your pfp by the way! Nimrod is second favorite Green Day album, second only to American Idiot.
Even though their views don’t necessarily reflect my own, I can put that aside and say without a doubt, this is my absolute favorite album of 2020 so far. I’d put this right next to For Blood and Empire.
