I got your point. Nightcore really brings a dark vibe with that name, while the Daycore thingie gives an impression of something more upbeat and fast paced, and guess what? That's just how normal Nightcore songs are.
I've seen some anti-nightcore referred to as daycore before actually but yes, I agree, the low pitch makes songs creepy and the high pitch makes them more cute as a general rule, although there's exceptions (like somebody might sound like smeagol after you speed up their voice or an eerie high pitch gets normal with the anti nightcore)
