That first one was actually very believable! Not only did it use Animal Crossing's dialogue style when Isabelle was talking, but the piracy error looked like something out of a legitimate computer OS error.
Trigger happy havoc had such good potential to turn it into a class trial where you can't do anything while the class figure out that you were the pirate and sent you to your demise
@@progisloveprogislife4501 Maybe, imagine it's on mobile phone ? (As DDLC isn't available on Mobile phone, maybe it could be seen as some hack to get it on your phone) It's the only option I could think about.
Original: I'm, but early and zombie pirate: *Walkes in literature club* She: *See us and blush* >w< Welcome to literature club! *We blushed like tomato, but holding sanity* Un normal: I'm: Why she was stay? Zombie pirate: I'll take a closer look. *She in smiling dance and running back and front us and scary jumpscare* We: Nightmare! Injured we: What the hell?! He: Again stay. She: *Scary turn head and smiling* We: What is the smile?!
i felt like monika would just lock you like usual with her but it appears as if it's a jail cell made from the game's code and even if you try and delete her the file just re-creates itself
The Sonic one loses a lot of its creepiness when you know that the Japanese version had this hilarious funky boss theme instead of the creepy one we got
0:01 Animal Crossing New Leaf 0:57 Earthbound The War Against Giygas 3:17 Yoshi's Island DS 4:13 Trigger Happy Havoc: Danganronpa 4:57 Super Mario Land 6:21 Sonic CD 8:07 Doki Doki
That seem real at first but then what is up with Sonics face now what is does Japanese word mean and why does creepy as hell noises play in the background like what is even hella happening edit: the Japanese words mean fun is unlimited at sega interprises
Earthbound has an anti piracy feature. It will let you play through the entire game, but enemies will be harder to beat, and once you're at the final boss your game will crash and all of your save data will be deleted.
For the Mario ones, voice acting for Nintendo wasn’t a thing until 1996. The 8-bit games you presented were probably from the 80’s or early 90’s. Perhaps the mama line was added into the video for comic relief.
4:27 usually when you spell "disk" with a K, that would mean "diskette" which is the old medium which use magnetic means of recording things on the surface. "Disc" would be an optical disc.
Me putting the names in earthbound: I f#ck everything else, i don't care! Why it is writed pirate 2:29 Me: SOLDIERS???? WTF IS THIS? 2:57 Protagonist: Crap, im in the prrrrison, IN THE MIDDLE OF SH#T
In earthbound, it doesn’t make you battle law enforcement officers. When you get to the final boss, the game will crash itself and delete your save file.
The video shown at 7:28 is actually real, but it wasn't for piracy. As far as I know, it was something scrapped for Sonic CD, but I don't know exactly what it is. Edit: It was a tech demo for the Sega/Mega CD.
It does. Nintendo's idea of anti piracy for that gane is to freeze your gane durring the Gigas battle, which will require a restart of your SNES, and when it is restarted, your save file is gone, like if you haven't saved at all
0:14 Isabelle's time for Anti-Piracy Screen 0:27 Isabelle: I am forced to turn off your deviceeeeeet's begin + Freeze... 0:30 Nintendo 3DS Anti-Piracy Screen 7:21 Gosh, Sonic CD US Boss Theme 😱 9:17 Blue Screen of Death...
None of these are real.. Its just a trend of making scary anti-piracy screens. Real anti pircay measures usually just make the game unplayable, for example:, If earthbound detecs piracy, the game spawns infinite numbers of monsters, and if you somehow get to the final boss, it just deletes the save file.. Well, in some cases the game just tells you that piracy is a crime (for example: Kirby's dream course).
Oh boy, time to appraise and rate these screens... Animal Crossing was actually good, and there's this Anti-Piracy reporter with the Resetti video. Earthbound blew it, especially with the Sanctuary Guardian music, due to it's memetic status, LOL! Could've been better if one knew how to make Romhacks. (The real Anti-Piracy is at the Giygas boss fight, it will crash your game and erase all of your save files.) Yoshi's Island pretty much like the Mario Party DS one (aka the golden standard now) This one, Trigger happy game, i don't know, but was meh. Mario Land one started off okay with the measures, but the ending was fucking trash and to make it worse, it has that fucking cliché Mario screaming, and the font... ugh. Let's move on. The sonic one... I'll pass. And i'll pass with Doki-Doki Literature club too.
Actually, as someone who has been hyperfixated on Danganronpa for over a year now, that doesn't look like an official screen at all. • The font. It's nothing like a font Spike Chunsoft would use for an anti piracy screen, if there was one. • "Disk". If disc is spelt as disk, it usually means diskette (which is very different) • "Please you can". Bad grammar. • Instruction booklet mention. Danganronpa isn't just on consoles, but it's also available on Steam, meaning it doesn't always have an instruction booklet. This also goes for discs.
i dont get why people make anti-piracy screens so scary... is it because they are trying to make the player traumatized just so the player will turn off the console? *UHHH*
