Dear Mr. Dershowwitz, Mass Eye and Ear damaged my eye while removing a cataract. It is now over 5 months later and I have no lens in my eye. I have had a vitrectomy, treatment for an inflammation by my cornea, and a retina reattachment... all because of MEE's mistake They failed to secure the new lens appropriately initially. I am glad all is well 4 you.

Well, if we're going to rely on 'the truth', then Alan should stop using the term, 'McCarthyism'. First, Senator McCarthy did not threaten lawyers for his adversaries (even when, say in the case of Joseph Welch, he acted dishonorably and disingenuously, in blaming McCarthy for something he himself had done in outing one of his young associates as a former communist sympathizer during the Army-McCarthy hearings). More importantly, thanks to FBI files opened to public view under the '50 Year rule- we now know that McCarthy was on solid ground in his charges in almost every case. Even his charges about George C. Marshall were verified by the Chinese scholar, Jung Chang, using Chinese sources, that Marshall had been duped by secret American Communists into undermining Chiang Kai Shek. That led to Mao taking over China, and was responsible for tens of millions of deaths. It does Alan no credit to repeat falsehoods in the name of 'truth'.

Critics have a small point against your credibility that you "successfully" defended OJ. This blemish will stay with you forever. To bad, you stand on the right side now.

Here's the key point: It is not whether the election is fair (though that is very important). It is that both sides agree the election was fair. If, in 2020, the response to questions about the election's fairness was met with "ok, let's check this out." I think the temperature would have been reduced. Instead, the response was "HOW DARE YOU EVEN QUESTION THE FAIRNESS OF THE MOST FAIR ELECTION IN HISTORY!!!!! SHUT UP YOU TRAITOR!!!" The result was extreme frustration that culminated in the Jan 6 riot.

Alan, do an experiment yourself. Get a tall glass and add 5 ice cubes. Now fill the glass with water to the very top. Leave it until all the ice is melted. Did the water level overflow the glass, or did it go down? There’s your answer about the ice caps raising sea level.
