I do find it funny how much people are willing to pay for variegation on a plant. Especially because variegation is bad for the plant. I’m no different in finding variegation on a plant beautiful but, I’ve never found it worth my buck especially not for hundreds or thousands of dollars 🤷🏻♀️
Agree! I see so many of these heavily variegated plants that look like they are struggling constantly. The variegation seems to give it that air of a dying plant. To spend hundreds of dollars for a silly leaf seems silly at best. For me on a budget, I am content with buying a nice plant for $20 bucks at Lowes and not trying to keep up with the Jones of Instagram. LOL
Agree with lots of these - I am personally not a fan of Philodendron Strawberry Shake. Something with that pink to yellowy cream transition that reminds me of vomit.
I thought I was hallucinating when I saw that bird fly by in a previous video. Poor little guy. He was just trying to save you from that evil microphone on your neck.😄 …. I am weird. I like green plants. No variegated ones on my wish list. I like ‘‘em looking like they came straight outta the jungle.
I haven’t found any real syngoniums that I love. I keep thinking I like them, but then think they only look cute smallish, and once they grow out they look “meh.” I don’t really have anything variegated except for my ZZ, which I love even though it’s super small still 😅.
