I still would love to see a full video of the entire show that night. I can't stand music festivals because usually, at least 65% of the bands are of no interest to me. But Daptone is a completely different story. Every band I hear is on a whole other level. Long Live Budos.
Budos is the realest!!!!! Antibalas is the truth!!! Right before this show Daptone stopped through Bear Creek festival & did a run through on the purple hat stage over the weekend so so amazing
Many have critiqued Antibalas for musically appropriating Fela Kuti. And there may be some truth in that but they crush it none the less. I've seen them three times and they never disappoint. Fantastic performance.
