I've lived in Atlanta all my life and my father is an Italian immigrant from Naples, Italy. He moved to America when he was 17 and didn't know a lick of English. Antico's is BY FAR the best pizza I've ever had, even when I went to Naples, Italy. I haven't done much traveling in the states but I would not be surprised if this is the best Pizza in the country. If I had to choose a last meal before I die, it would be an Antico's pie!
Best pizza I've ever had! And luckily, I'm an Atlanta native & resident! I met Gio once while getting take out at his chicken restaurant (which is almost as good as the pizza) - GREAT guy! Antico Pizza/Gio's Chicken will continue to get business from me! Much love & respect to this business!
My Father is from Napoli, grew up there since he was 17 years old and I have been to Italy and had real Neapolitan Pizza before. I can say this without ANY doubt, this is the best place to get real Neapolitan Pizza anywhere in the Southeast United States, this stuff can easily compete with higher end Pizzerias in Napoli.
Ok, I understand you and I think you are right :-) i'm sorry about my english but it was translated by google translator, not this message, this is mine, please tell me if it's better than Google. Ty
Perhaps you meant "Antica pizzeria" ? Antico is masculine, if used to indicate the pizza or the pizzeria, is said antica. the pizza looks good, bravo! Best regards from Italy.
Yes, there are Hundreds of others making wood fired pizza across America, but not all of them are authentic Neapolitan Pizza. I've been to at least 10 other places like this before and they don't even come close to Antico, even the ones I was previously crazy for are dwarfed by the quality and flavor at Antico. Name me a few of these places and I'll go try them and compare the two.
Also, my family owns a popular Restaurant in Roswell called "Amalfi Ristorante". It's been open for over 15 years and the Calamari Luciana is insane, and this is coming from a guy who does not like seafood in the slightest.
The food may be great, but the man who owns and runs the business is a man of dishonor. Who hurts other people to get what he wants no matter what the cost. Be careful John Diploma. God is watching .He knows your heart.
Comparing this product to any of those others is so far from accurate. This is by far the best pizza in Atlanta. Original? Probably not, but what pizza is? And dirty ovens? Really? That's char from 1000* temps. Just eat it wuss.
