Maoi’s are so underutilized! There needs to be more education done on them and all information updated to reflect 2024! I find them a lot more effective than ssri’s, snri’s and tricyclics. Also generally speaking, a lot more tolerable, with the exception of Nardil, the other Maoi’s I tolerate better than ssri’s.

I have had quite severe serotonin syndrome and trust me its is NOT PLEASENT. All of yourmuscles start to tighten up and you feel like you're made of wood in the most aweful way. I accidentally put myself in this state and relapsed on my GBL addiction (because it loosens you up) and woke up about 45 minutes later in an ambulance. Setatonin syndrome is awful.
