The Antiqua finish comes from a run of Coronado's in '68 I believe that Fender messed up and then brought back in the 70's. Thanks for the video and Cheers from Toronto 🍺🇨🇦

My Mom has a verry cool old Racing Yacht, a Pacific Coast Cruiser named the Antigua. She says An-tee-gah, but it seems like something she learned from her swell friends at the Berkeley Marina. She grew up in Hyden and I bet it sounds different there. In the olden days when we were kids, Chuck Prophet had one of those Antigua Stratocasters, and I guess it has always been on my list. 🤘

After your description of the neck profile, this is a guitar I would want to play before putting any cash down. And I've never had a lot of good experiences with MIM Strats.

I totally get that. For what it’s worth the shoulders felt a bit different but still very rounded. Felt a bit bigger than the standard C, but not by a wide margin. I really enjoyed my time with that one, actually.
