The roll number is like an album ID. Almost all tunes for this organ and many other Wurlitzer band organs have been given roll numbers and grouped, usually ten at a time, and perforated onto rolls like player piano rolls. Also, most Wurlitzer rolls have been scanned into MIDI data files.
