I'm almost 75 and so many of the furniture items look like they could have come from my grandparents home in Minnesota. The record players, the marble topped pieces. The radio is the same as we had on the farm when I was young. It was used until I was in my teens. I've lived in Buckeye Arizona in western Maricopa county for the past 32 years and I love the old things. The set of pyrex nesting bowls are the same one my Mom got with Green Stamps. As a matter of fact that's how I got mine. I use mine all the time and I still have my Mom's big yellow one. That one is put up because it goes to my youngest daughter. I love the care you take and your appreciation of the old things.

I still have my Grandmother's yellow Pyrex bowl that she made her potato salad in as I still do. The Plastic plates set I grew up with and my mother called it Melmac. I am from Orlando, FL

I grew up in Michigan with my mom owning those Pyrex bowls in the 4 colors. They were used everyday with so much love. I will always remember the day the second biggest one broke. I believe she cried? I think my sister has the set now? I have found the largest and the smallest one at garage sales sense. I treasure them here in North Georgia! :)

Some creative shipping ideas for the big glass bowl. to use large plastic bags and spray in insulation and form it to the bowl until it sets up, of course only if its 500 like you hope, then you gotta spend money to pack it good.

I have those Pyrex mixing bowls. About 25 years ago, I paid $50 for a set of 4 in an antique shop. Then my mother gave me the two she had...a giant red, and another green medium. I have seen the price at double that now. I gave my BFF my Fire King green mugs and my Homer Laughlin pink teapot. I am sure I am not the only one that has been telling the video what things are. LOL

That is an antique lantern slide projector. Its probably from the late 1800's. Yours is in beautiful condition.

Wade, the glass bowl looks like it is a Murano glass piece. I would sell it on Ebay not Poshmark. I would take it to a Pack and Ship place to mail it rather than you all trying to do it yourself with a piece that big, expensive and fragile. I have been in the vintage and antique business for 20 + years with my best friend and we have mailed A LOT of big and fragile things over the years. We pay to have those items professionally mailed it is just worth it in the end to not have to worry about it.

10:32 This glass piece could be an Epergne, they were made to sit inside a bracket of metal or glass. This is plain one, some are very beautiful. They were often in very old cars, they put flowers in them - an old time air freshener :)

If you scrape the Pearl's on the front of your teeth, and it feels gritty, it's a real pearl, otherwise it just feels smooth like glass. I have several set's of vintage/antique pearls.

I grew up with a set of pyrex mixing bowls that were all pink. Inherited the set with a red one as that size broke and Mom found the replacement at a garage sale. Didn't know they came in colors till I was an adult. From Aurora CO

The Pyrex bowl set comes in yellow, green, blue and red. Mom is right. That is how they sell them. We have that set

check the green bowl under black light to see if it glows. If it does it is a Uranium bowl.

That huge blue glass dish is fabulous I'd love that Could be french but I don't know for sure. My brother used to work in a glass blowing factory and he'd bring home multi coloured glass fish 🐟 in the 70's and swans they were lovely now they are collectable wish we still had them but mum sold them for pennies in the 80s what a shame eh x

Those melamine plates and such at 43;38 is the same set I got with like H&S stamps in the 50's. the very same pattern and I got all the serving dishes platters and all. Was a really nice set as a new bride and starting house keeping.

The little lamps usually took parrafin or spirits, not oil and they were go to bed lamps, safer than a candle back in the day ☺️ 👍🏻
