You and Ashley singing that song brought me to tears. So beautiful. Very thankful that you have recovered enough to come home. Simon, Ashley and all who love you must be so relieved. Thank you for a lovely video. Much love to you all.
Your duet with Ashley was lovely! Your talents run deep and in so many different areas! Upholstery, painting, wallpapering, costume making... and on and on! Well done! 💗
Oh my goodness! The flower duet is my most favourite piece ever! What beautiful voices you have! How special is that! And dear Vivienne, I know you were upset about your roses and the ceiling, but considering all of what you’ve had to go, through physically, those will be the least of your worries… the roses will grow, and the ceiling can be fixed… But there’s only one of you! Be well and healthy and happy… so relieved that you are now home… I love your videos, your love for so many wonderful things and your beautiful personality. The two of you are adorable! Take care. ❤
Hi Vivienne and Simon, I am so happy Vivienne that you are home and feeling better. The chairs look beautiful, the fabric you picked out is absolutely perfect. You and your sister harmonize beautifully together. It's always a good day when Chateau Love is in my notifications. Love from N.Y.
The furniture turned out beautifully! Glad you are feeling so much better. The joy that was expressed when singing with your sister is so lovely to see.
Beautiful vlog featuring medical healing, chateau tour, furniture restoration, local engagement, food tasting, and sisters singing! Indeed, Château Love…
Aw, you are precious Vivienne and thank you for sharing what you are comfortable with. Ahahahaha it's called Retail Therapy, Simon, and it truly does aid in convalescence. I LOVE that duet, it's one of my faves!!!
Oh wow! So wonderful to have you back to full health and to hear your beautiful voices together! What a lovely episode. The upholstery…fab fabric! You’re such a clever lady. Much love to you all. ❤
I have a rose bush by the side gate that I thought to take out as it looked so poorly after hot summers but instead I pruned it back hard and today it has so much strong growth on it ! You could mulch in some horse manure, well decomposed and maybe some wood ash and 'bone meal' to give them more energy. Very happy to see you back !
Hi Stephanie! Great advice, and we have plenty of horse manure! 😂 Generally I agree with the hard pruning, but I had high hopes for the climbing roses (pun intended). 😊I’d love any suggestions you have for colourful underplanting. Big hugs to you!! 🥰💖🏰💖💖
@@ChateauLove Yesterday I took a tip from Lalande and planted my first dahlias in the vegetable garden as cutting flowers and today a lovely English rose near the fountain. I bought two large rhododenroms from Lidl for 6,99, they are big and healthy! I had the gardener ( I gave in and hired a local man ) dig up some really done roses and dig me out a 60 cm wide border 30 metres along a wall after he took off three trailer loads of ivy growing over from the neighbour. I planted forsythia, lupins, iris', peonies, wigelia, lavendar, rosemary and lots of crysanthemums from the local cemetery bins (with their blessing) along with more roses. Depending on the exposure you could try chrysanthemums or lupins or even dahlias as they fill in quite quickly. Chrysanthemums come in many variarities and are easy to take cuttings from. If you go for lupins you must sprinkle wood ash around the base as it keeps slugs away as they love lupins. My gran had a huge hedge of lupins and she also sowed nasturtiums each year in her gravel that cover quite a bit if ground and you can use the flowers in salads! Good luck ! Hugs xo
So pleased you are well Vivian! You did an exceptional job on the furniture - they are lovely! How wonderful to hear you sing with your sister, what a joy!
Great work on the chairs and sofa. Beautiful voices thank you for letting us hear you both. And your roses will grow beautifully I agree a good feed will do then the world of good. Rest well x
I’m sooo happy to see your video this morning as I was just thinking about you last night Vivienne and wondering how you were! It’s wonderful news to hear that you are recuperating well which must be a big relief for Simon and your family too. The ‘love’ and ‘music’ part of your introduction is very evident in the duet with your sister. You and your family are so multi talented and your beautiful voices are indeed a blessing. I could listen to so much more of you and Ashley singing together. Oh, and the recovering and gold leafing was so impressive too! There can never be too much bling in a chateau in my opinion, my only sorrow is that I don’t have a Chateau!😅👏🥰❤️
Vivian you and Ashley sing so beautifully together, I enjoyed the reveal of your beautiful refinished furniture while you serenaded Simon and us. Next time open the Windows so your roses can hear you. I' m sure your TLC and some peat moss and manure will help the roses too.
Vivienne and Ashley- absolutely beautiful duet! Simon was so proud as he listened! The upholstery is gorgeous! The fabric is so amazing! So glad you are healing quickly! Happy Spring!
I must say the the upholstery was really wonderful you have a real talent for that type of work, just wonderful. Then there is the singing, you and your sister are fantastic together. I really loved it, Bravo.
The chairs turned out beautiful! That gorgeous upholstery is the perfect complement to the gold leaf. I also enjoyed your singing. I'm so glad you are feeling better!
Chateau Love the harmony of the Flower Duet with Ashley,. Love the amazing upholstery work and love that you are in recovery from the operation. Once again a delightful vlog from Chateau Love
Beautiful all round video - recovery to full health is always beautiful, pruned roses, DIY with gilding and the icing on the cake - sister's voices in harmony.
Mr. Cheese can't be fooled 😊 good to know that he likes the Vegan too! I think you are amazing when you are showing us how to reframe furnitures! It's most informative 😊❤ your sister humor is really great 😅 too! Lovely to hear you two singing together ❤❤
Hi Vivienne! So glad that you both got home safe and sound. No worries about your roses. You will be amazed at how beautiful they will come back. You can train the climbing roses as before and all will be well. A good hard pruning is always a good thing for roses. Enjoy your time back home.
Welcome Home, thank you so sharing your life experience with us. You both are blessed and have delicious hearts to experience life with gusto! Living with eye candy is daily happiness, your Fans are so happy you are back at full speed ! Take it easy and work up to adventures, we are with you all the way, cheese and all ❤️💕❤️
Goosebumps during the chanson. What a lovely multitalented family you all have! The salon set just glows with glamour and class now that it has had the Vivian touch(es). Merci merci, and so glad your health is better.
Hi Vivienne & Simon, so glad you are on the mend Vivienne and recovering well. I hope the kitchen ceiling gets fixed without uncovering too many problems. What a beautiful job of upholstering the furniture, it all looks beautiful, love the fabric. Last but definitely not least...the singing was very moving and so beautiful, gave me goosebumps! Thank you so much for sharing, take really good care of yourselves and each other, stay well! Lots of love Kathy x 💖
Beautiful singing!! Your furniture looks wonderful all recovered. The piece you bought on the way home is also gorgeous. Can't wait to see where they all go in the chateau.
I often watch you understanding why you enjoy your friendships with Stephanie and Philip as you have so much in common. The furniture makeover was so beautifully done and your singing so moving. I’m so glad you’re feeling better as your approach to life is so uplifting, even when not feeling your best!
Don't worry about the hard pruning on the roses, they will grow back to their glorious beauty. Better than before. You obviously had an experienced gardener that got rid of deceased plants or over crowding. ❤
Sorry about the ceiling, may have to go up and repair roof, boards, and repair entire ceiling. One of your colleagues, has to do the same thing, every year. Love the sofa and chairs, thank you for the upholstery tutorial. The song is beautiful.
Greetings from British Columbia! So glad to have you back! How wonderful and radiant you look Vivienne. Super duper video chalk full of diy inspo and musical talent etc.. So sorry for the setbacks with beloved roses and your water leak. Don’t let it get you down. I just love you all!
Thank you for the upholstering lesson! I've been wanting to change some fabrics in my home, and this will be very helpful. Also, I loved loved the song at the end. I would love to hear you and Stephanie and Philip sing a trio sometime (hint hint). I hope the roses reappear and flourish. Happy Spring!
So glad you are on the mend Vivien and the upholstery of the chair's and sofa was beautiful, well done on the singing with your sister it was lovely 💕🌼🤗
Hi Vivian & Simon, Nothing better than a detour to buy antiques! The secretaire will look once you have lovingly restored it. The fabric looks great on the three piece set. Mark & Scott
So beautiful! If I were a baby and asked what song would I want to hear at bedtime, this would be it. I loved your reupholstering filming. It's a very scary job but I can see with your experience and hand, you have a magical way to finish off the piece to perfection.
They are fine pruned this time of year. The tallest one may not spring back to same height this growing year, I like the idea of training the roses at the walk and would reinstate that. Just be patient and don’t overdo, Vivienne. You and Simon can make anything look like a million bucks. 💗🍀👍😊 So Glad you two are now back in your beautiful 🏡 home.
I am so relieved you are recovering well and back in your mini Versailles. The sofa and chairs are exquisite. Ashley and you singing so beautifully was a perfect end to your homecoming. Thank you Ashley and Simon for taking such good care of Vivienne. Sending you love and petite bisous from Princess Dolly. ❤❤
So glad to see you back and releived to hear you're recovering well. Love the salon you recovered and the singing was wonderful too, you're a very talanted lady but with Simon by your side you can do anything. X
Welcome Home Vivienne!!! Continued Well Wishes! So wonderful to see you and Simon back! Vivienne, you have a lot of color in your face, as if you have been sunbathing!!! Beautiful song! Merci Beaucoup!
I was thrilled to see your video pop up this morning (in New Zealand) wonderful to see you have recovered and back home again. No place like home❤ What a shame about the leek, hope it won’t be too much of a problem to get it fixed. We had a flashing fail a coupon winters ago and had buckets to catch the water in our lounge. I still can’t help but feeling a bit uneasy when we have strong weather events. What beautiful furniture, the upholstery is amazing, and you singing with your sister was very moving❤
So thankful you are on the mend, but at your worse you still had a smile and your beautiful laughter. You are always so positive. The song was beautiful.
So glad to see you both back at the chateaux. Great news about your recovery. Loved your upholstery, fabric, and gold finish ! Perfect ! Beautiful duet by two beautiful sweetheart sisters. Love from Missouri, USA !
Wow! Your singing with your sister was stellar! And the upholstered furniture spectacular. Great to see you well again. Thank you so much for another great video! Love from Toronto 🇨🇦😊💜
Lovely seeing you both and you look beautiful Vivienne 💗 For your garden borders you can add annuals to give you that pop of colour 🥰 don’t worry your rose bushes will bloom and grow better 🥰 beautiful material on your furniture 🥰
Beautiful duet, at 29:41 a beautiful orb floats by your sister on her left and along the side of the piano. Several other small spots of light follow the same path during the song, one goes to the music page. Your song must have triggered some interest from the other side! Lovely job on the furniture recovering and glad YOU are recovering!
Wow wonderful to see you both back and looking so well .! The chairs and settee you have upholstered look fantastic . We went to Versailles in 2019 it was outstanding I would love to see it again and spend more time there. Monet garden was also beautiful and in full bloom. You and your sister have beautiful voices and I love that song.🙋♀️🇦🇺❤️
Watching your joy at being home( despite the leaks and over pruned roses) was so wonderful ❤ And I could see how Simon was thankful to have you home too! Interestingly enough, when dating my husband we would stop at a cheese shop ( the building was actually painted yellow and round with a wedge out where the door was😅) and buy Boursin and a baguette. This was in Maine on the coast. ❤ Lol I've never heard music lessons with cajoles as examples before 😂
So lovely to see you looking your gorgeous self Vivienne….. with your beautiful Simon beside you. Go slowly enjoy your new energy…. sing more with your beautiful sister Ashley. It’s wonderful you care enough to share your life with so many …. I feel it’s a privilege to see inside other peoples life’s the good and the not so good. How blessed are we with this form of communication I’ve just watched your friend Stephanie celebrating Gerry’s birthday together in Dubai. Warmest wishes … stay well Denise 🥂 Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Welcome back/home Vivenne. So lovely to see you back at the chateau. The Duo des fleurs by Lakme was absolutely beautiful . How wonderful that the two of you got to perform this gorgeous piece of Opera together. I love the new furniture you are amazing with your reupholstering skills such a talent and a joy to watch... Glad you are back. Bravo from Toronto..
Vivienne so good to see you and Simon back. You must have been itching to get to the DIY whilst convalescing. Such a professional job with the golden suite. Looks so beautiful the choice of fabric. The roses will grow back from their haircuts but it must have been a shock. Cant fool Simon with his cheeses. Your duet with Ashley is one of my favourites also Puccini's Mia Papa what an absolutely lovely video to start off your return to the Chateau with a Venetian theme. 😍
So happy to hear (and see) that you've recovered and are feeling so much better! I've come to enjoy so much your videos and daily life. Now, stay healthy and continue to share your adventures! 💐💐💐💕💕💕
