Yeah I like sharing the costs. I’m glad to hear that you like it too! I know some people aren’t crazy about it so I’m hesitant at times to share some of them. Thanks for watching ✌🏻
Yes, too bad “Tom” wrote his name on the Road album cover; hate it when people do that! I guess they were scared that someone would steal their album collection or something. You scored some great bargains there! Great job on the video and you’re getting better all the time! Walter
Yeah it can frustrating when people do that haha. It’s interesting when they write like their address on it. It’s cool to see where the record came from or if the original owner was close by. And thank you so much for the kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching! ✌🏻
@@YesterdaysTrips Your reply comment struck a familiar chord! When I was living in Vegas several years ago, I stopped by a garage sale where the people were selling records, including some 45’s. While sorting through the 45’s, I came across a copy of “Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones. Looking closer at the label, I immediately recognized the name handwritten on it as a girl that I graduated from high school with about 35 years earlier! Of course I bought it without hesitation and I later messaged the girl and told her, “hey, I just bought one of your records!”.
@@kingelvis1956 That is an amazing story! The kind of story that just doesn’t happen now with everything being online haha. Thank you so much for sharing that! There’s also the thing where you find records with phone numbers on them. I always think how cool it would be to call the number and have the original owner pick up so I can tell them I got their record LOL.
@@YesterdaysTrips LOL Hopefully they will kindly tell you “cool! Enjoy it!”, or they might say, “Darn! Why didn’t I scratch my number off that thing?!” Keep up the great work 😁
house of the rising sun is the hit single off that frigid pink record, was a big hit back in the day hit #7 on the charts. Zeppelin even opened for them at one point
Check out a band called The Flamingo Jones. They're an Australian psych band with a bit of a local live cult following They only have 1 album available physically i think and their line up is ever changing but they make some nice sounds. Very Black Angels sounding at times, very spacey
I will definitely check them out. Sound like they’ll be right up my alley. Speaking of Australian bands, the hard rock band Buffalo is at the top of my wantlist. Would love to get an og copy of Volcanic Rock. I dig Black Angels so I’ll definitely dig them for sure. Thanks for watching! ✌🏻
@@crazyprayingmantis5596 One day I’m sure! I wish you luck! I currently have the Akarma reissue to tide me over haha. It’s pretty decent but not as cool as an og obviously. Maybe I’ll show it off in a future video.
