Follow the adventures of Antique Agenda as I visit my RU-vid friends and go antiquing across the country! In part 5 I travel to West Virginia to see Angela. We shop at one of her secret "honey holes", a vintage department store and visit the flea market. We also had a tea party to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of our Live Stream chat show BROCANTE & BERGAMOT ( B&B ) on Monday nights at 7PM.

I love that the old department store was preserved and is now being used as a thrift market. Nice jewelry picks - I have the JJ bathing beauty in gold tone. The highlight of this one has to be Angela opening the champagne with the her sword.

First of all, I LOVE John Denver, the only celebrity death I actually cried real tears over. Thank you for singing "Country Road" with enthusiasm & gusto. After seeing SO much, not the least of which was Angela's view from her house, I am SICK because I need need need to purchase an antique radio (or two) from that collector person. ** Heavy Sigh ** And Happy Anniversary to you both. There is NO duo as dynamic as the two of you anywhere on RU-vid. It's magic.

The difference in prices from you to me is really interesting- armoires, inlaid furniture, and coffee grinders are all much cheaper here. But $3 brooches…🥰

LOL...I try not to shop on Amazon, and TEMU is similar in the fact that it has alot of fast (home) fashion from China. I prrefer to pick up my made in China products second hand at the thrift store as much as possible. That way my dollars aren't feeding the algorithm that tells China to produce more of the stuff.
