If I was their customer I would want to see the prices on the pieces. They could include a blurb with the history. Maybe they prefer clientele with no budget?

We agree! We wish they had the prices on each piece too but they are so kind in there and do not make it uncomfortable to ask the prices at all so thats good. 🤗

I have been looking for equestrian design items, nautical items, drawings, brass candlesticks, decorative glass pieces. So I found some prints with hunters on horseback with their hunting dogs, a tapestry with the hunting scene, art with boats and rooftop drawing of cedar shingled houses with boats in the background, and an etched glass candy dish.

That architect table is called a drafting table and the tool is a T square used to draw vertical lines. This took me way back to highschool when I was in drafting classes and prints were drawn by hand. Nowadays it's all done on computer software which totally has its advantages. This store is so cool!! I love it!

Brandy and Zach, your antique store walk through felt like I was right there with you. That store for you is like a kid at a candy store and Zach was just as excited. Your energy, vision and thoughts on antiques inspire me to imagine and appreciate what antiques can do to my space. The doors, wow. I can picture it in your dream home either a pantry, art room/studio or even a bathroom. There is so much character that comes through on pieces that are antique, aged, worn, lived in. Right now I'm refreshing my home, switching out textiles to go with a new L shaped sectional I'm looking to buy. Also, I'm painting the rest of my light fixtures using the same matte black paint I've used in my home. An upgrade on a budget. Take us on your next trip. It never gets old 😊👍🏼

@Brandy Jackson Exactly. A little paint goes a long way and I'm upgrading where I can with what I have. This shopping trip was a bonus and I felt like I was in your head. And I ain't mad at Zach sharing his feedback. He's got a good eye. You're definitely rubbing off on him. Next thing you know you both will be running an antique store of your own in the future called "Jackson's Finds" or "What's Old is New" or "Br-Antique" Hire me as your PR Manager. Dang it! I think these stores are a little more rare but if you ever visit Phoenix you have to go there! Or if you go to LA they have a similar store called Big Daddy Antiques and of course Texas has Roundtop! Those are the only places I know of that are similar. 🤗

The first time I asked for prices I was SO NERVOUS but they were super chill about it!! I was mostly afraid of what my reaction or facial expressions when hear what the prices were 🤣🙃 They have some prices that was yikes but some that were comparable to other places!

@@BrandyJackson you're right though everything in that store is gorgeous! I see how you walked right past the bread boards you've seen them so many times before I think you were actually the first RU-vidr I ever saw who was into the dough bowls breadboards etc.
