I'm a new subscriber. I'm loving all your videos, but this is my fav so far! Regarding the bracelet at about 44: I know you said you're researching, and I've not heard of Popper glass, but I do have a couple of George Steere pieces, and he used that kind of glass in many of his pieces. If you don't know about him, his pieces transition from Arts & Crafts to Art Nouveau. I have a sash pin about to arrive and a wonderful watch fob with pink art glass cabs that look like your Popper glass. Your bracelet doesn't look like a lot of his pieces, but he played around with styles a bit. Idk if you'll see this since the video was made a while ago, but thought I'd pass that tidbit along (thought it's likely not news to you due to your extensive knowledge) and thank you for the great videos. Your collection is amazing (I think I hear mine weeping a little out of envy, lol).

Can you discuss what impact the Chinese market is having on prices in the US? Or where it's affecting the market the most- what kind of pieces & brands are they favoring? & also, what is your opinion abt Why? & When? did they start buying our "costume" jewelry pieces? I heard someone mention Chinese dealers buying their best pieces a while back, & keep hearing ppl make references to the popularity in China & fact dealers from there are buying items enmasse. But I'm curious abt why, & when this began. & how big of a trend is it? It must be driving up prices of items ... like you mentioned Trifari jumping up in value- & it reminded me of that influence on the market. Thanks for the eye candy!!❤️

I love your long videos! Your info on just what techniques to look for in costume is really nice bc culturally I was brought up valuing jewelry on pretty much just the weight of precious metals it has rather than the craftmanship.

on the saphiret (thank you for the lesson on this glass, love it!) brooch that you r considering repurposing, i imagined the square piece in the middle as a necklace pendant and the 3 other stones could be 2 earring studs and a sweet little ring to make a set! Or what i originally thought was put the three into one ring, yeah that'd be cool, to go with the pendant! Easy for me to say tho, I'm sure that would be quite a lot of work to do!😊 it is a pretty glass, & today's the first time I've learned about it. Thanks again!
