It has been pitched up far higher than that. It is hardcore, that is how it is supposed to be played, and that is why Brisk's sets were always the best!
Antisocials best for me!!! Smashed by every dj bk in the day!!! perfect Pitch aswell how Happy Hardcore was played Brisk was well known for it!!! Nice one Garf playing it at this speed. About +25% I'm guessing
@roddyboyno107 if you want to get a sense of the real vibe from back in the day. when i was at school, about 15 years ago, we got the tape packs, on them you get the MC's, some of the lyrics and the energy they put over these tunes was something else. proper awesome, i had loads of the Dreamscapes
thankyou! pitch it up! Brisk's sets were rocking cos he licked em out fast. some dude reckoned hardcore should be 155-160bpm. wtf? 175-190! get the fucking powerjam on 45rpm -8% BOOM!
@@hardcoreheaven4 wow. Long time. I have older comments than this too. I’ve been on RU-vid since like 2007. And Brisk is still awesome. He knows me and streams on Twitch full time.
@Mcorp30 It's not their responsibility to make tunes you want to hear. If they aren't making them, then why is no one else stepping up? Why aren't you?
@BETHREYNOLDS74 wouldnt say it was just hixxy , up till bout 98 was his scene to rule 4 a few yrs but then broke his kneck ! I wouls blame quosh , styles , dougal n all the other plebs who decided coverin whatever was in the charts at the present time . Gabber is now at the same phase as happy @ 99 , being run over by chart wnnabees
Has anyone heard a version of this song with a male voice over? It's exactly like this but a dude is talking through it, here's an idea of what I'm looking for: /watch?v=rgjguF_ljzE
@01000001011100100111 I dont need 2 my friends do and frankly i dont have the painstaking time it takes to make a good track . There are plenty of good tracks about if you look hard enough, but none of them are in the happy scene which has got lazy because it has a bigger and now younger fanbase and oney rules, obviously not the love of the scene
UberUberJ Most djs played this at this speed or faster bk in the day! Happy Hardcore was played fast hence the "Hardcore" Brisk was known for it hence his name. I always pitched up Happy Hardcore when I used to dj bk in the day. Garf has got it spoton.
@unitedtillidie1799 Old comment but Hardcore doesn't mean fast. Between 1990 and 1992 a lot of Hardcore was between 120bpm & 130bpm (Altern8, Acen, The House Crew, Urban Shakedown etc). Happy Hardcore got faster in later years but the term hardcore never referred to how fast it was
