Que Paso from South Texas. I recently started making rings etc, out of Whitetail Antler. I know the correct term is antler, but we at the ranch, call them horns. I have plenty of sheds to use. I've used steel wool on some different materials, I don't see why one couldn't use it. Just like with anything I try I do a test area first just in case it doesn't work well.
