The Wolves biggest problem is that the Mavs haven't shot the ball well outside the paint yet, and they're still up 2-0. If they start hitting jump shots this could easily be a sweep.
I think the Wolves biggest problem is their two best players’ abysmal shooting these last two games. All of the defensive success in the world don’t mean squat if you are 4-16 (KAT) and 5-17 (Edwards) from the field on the night.
😂This is actually what is killing the Wolves. They live and die by the 3 when they don't need to do so. Mavs rely on Luka and Kyrie to score the bulk of their points while the rest of the team contains the best players from the opposition. KAT and Ant are not being contained. Plus the wolves bench is actually keeping them in the game. KAT and Ant are however just nonstop bricking. Shooting like 4 for 16 in 2 straight games is terrible for them. And they refuse to make the more efficient 2 in the post. It's the reason the Nugget series had to go 7. When they forced KAT to play Center on offense as well as defense, they actually were able to hold the leads that the bench would get them because KAT is better than Rudy and Naz in that spot on offense. That being said, the wolves would have won last night if Ant would have simply went for 2 layups at the end of the game instead of looking to pass. They are likely going to get swept if they keep shooting 3's when they just are not falling.
Lukas pissed. He put up another unicorn season, got snubbed out of even being in the MVP conversation pretty much, and now everyone's calling someone else the next MJ. Don't go poking that Slovenian bear
@@JKAnu-yq1tr magic Johnson couldn't play defense worth shit and he's still considered the best to ever play the point guard position besides some of the Steph curry fans and he has the same baggage. Different guys play different roles
I agree he should of won the MVP However Kyrie Irving doesn’t get the respect he deserves from the media and I was shocked he didn’t make NBA top 75 players
But they have been in a situation where they weren’t the favorites. And they have been in a situation where they’ve played better on the road than at home. Also they been in a situation where they won 2 in a row in an away game.
Michael Jordan would pass the ball at key moments of a game? only to be air balled , if this guy was really him, no one would have the ball except him in the last 30 secs
@@CorgiaiLover There’s literally a well known play where he passes to Steve Kerr in a clutch moment of the game. Knowing when to pass is part of being great.
@@CorgiaiLover stev Kerr's most famous play is Micheal trusting him mate... But comparing ant to Micheal Jordan ATM is laughable but he's young let's see where he goes
His energy is so different from the last series. He is even different in interviews. I wonder if someone said something to him that made him change. He is not even the same person. He is not working the paint. He is not aggressive. Something is up.
It is. He is still worth more than you and will help more people than you in a lifetime. Loved By more people than you. And have woman you could only jwerk off to...
People saying he talk to much but do you really think he told the camera crew to come in record and ask questions???? Hes a star thats why he keeps getting these interviews
I love Ant, but he's the one that needs to not panick. Wolves aren't winning this series without their best player, and so far, he's damn near sabotaged them.
It's the first time with this man that i don't believe that he believe his words. He always speak with confidence and this time i feel like he's been polite this time cause he's the leader but i don't know. Gentleman sweep is on the way.
Haters wanna hate, and unfortunately, too many people see hating as some good outlet for their feelings, or a good way to feel better/accomplish something, when it’s nothing of the sort
Not everyone the same person are you dumb, why would you try and be someone that you’re not. If he tried to be Kobe he could train his whole life and only be the second best version of Kobe because Kobe is the best version of Kobe. Just like how Kobe could train to be mj but could only be the second best mj because mj is the best mj. Be your own person.
These moments right here are what make legacies. Down 0-2. Gassed. Not playing well. How will Ant respond? The greats all had the ability to dig deep when it mattered the most. Let’s see what Ant is truly made of at this point in his career.
@@vlirx4739 legacies in the NBA start being written right when they enter the league. He’s been in the league 4 years now. 22 or not, he’s got a shot to do something special at this young age. He’s gotta dig deep though.
I like this kid. He made three errant passes in the last minute of the game though. That's three trips up the floor with no points because he threw the ball to teammates who were not there. Whut? Ried is not getting paid to make game winning shots in the playoffs, either. That is Ant's job. If the Wolves are not careful Dallas will sweep them. I get the sense Minnesota are not ready for this; their big challenge this year was to get past Denver. Now that they have done that, they do not seem interested in what's next.
Ant’s comparisons went from Michael Jordan to Dillon Brooks. Against a defence that isn’t even good, Anthony Edwards has shot the worst FG% over a 3 game playoff stretch since 2020 (going 15-57 which is like 28.9% and once Dillon Brooks shot 30% across 3 playoff games)
@@TeeJohnson-wb4qb oh shut up. If Tatum got double teamed and shot 40% you’d say he played terrible but you defend Ant when he’s double teamed and shoots
Bro you just said "we had to win 2 games before" but you need to win 4 of the next 5 games now. Before you needed to win 2 in a row. Tryna act like this is the same is copium.
You can tell people who never played sports at a high level by how they comment on things 😂. The nerds want him to be humble he beat the suns and defending champs and don’t let them say u play like Michael Jordan lol 😂 luka been in the nba 6 years to ant 3. He is still talking and confident like black kings are.
Coming from the dude who turned the ball over in 2 back to back games to possibly win the game, bruh chocked 2 games away in his building and im puttin it on him cause he turned the ball over last night on a game winning pocession just like he did on tuesday. Just careless at the end of games with the ball, series could easily be 2-0 going the wolves way but the best player is letting his team down
@@2phonebabykeem913 in what way? Ant nahhh he is good but no killer instinct.. for denver yeah he is lethal.. but no way in dallas.. who can guard luka? Ok you can who can guard kyrie? Ok you can back to luca and vice versa.. You can see ant he is still afraid.. 7 pts in 4th quarter is a joke..
he didn't "call out" kyrie yall need to chill😂😂 he was asked about his early thoughts on the dallas series, and said kyrie would be his matchup and that "this is gonna be fun" never said anything along the lines of he could lock him up or anything
@mateojohns05 you conveniently left out the last line of his statement. Anyone who has ever played sports knows that's a challenge. He wasn't disrespectful but definitely called him out.
I like ant.. but I'm a Bron fan he is doing what Bron does but not efficiently enough.. he gotta drive and take his free throws.. coach gotta tell everyone to fake them threes and drive if they want to stay in this series
This is why I love the comments man, this is no joke possibly the dumbest comment I’ve seen all month. The kid was a better basketball player than you at 14 bruh. Talking about scared of the moment? My guy the biggest moment you have been in, is walking off the couch to go get a beer while watching him play on tv.
@@QC308well the lakers were leading for like 70% of the game time that series but “they couldn’t close” . But that guy didn’t even say the lakers were better, he just said that they were better by the OP’s logic if that logic were applied, so that you can calm down your hate boner buddy, no ones cock sucking the lakers, don’t worry
Luka and Kyrie are battle-hardened and now they actually have a young, tough and defensively minded squad, coached by J-Kidd. It will be difficult for the Wolves to come back from this one. Dallas executes very well.
People don’t realize how loud American Airlines center is and how unrelenting mavs fans are It’s not even controversial to claim we have what could be considered the best home court advantage in the league
No the refs messing up the out of bounds play cost them. You shouldn't need a replay to see a foul. Sadly they could only review who the ball touches last
This last 2 losing games will help the wolves and ant in long terms. Even if they lose the next 2 or win the next 4, all the experience they got in this last 2 games, will make them better at long term. More experienced, more confident. It's a process.
