I have the feeling he learnt this recipe in rehab...I learnt a lot of stew recipes in that place too. Easy to make and good for the heart and mind.

There's a video somewhere on the internet of Blixa Bargeld making risotto. But this is way better... Anton is such a magical unicorn. He's quite misunderstood but that comes with the territory of being a unicorn. He actually handles it with a lot of grace considering the sheer volume of shit he has to deal with from people. I could watch him make stew (or talk about politics and his vision for the world) all freakin' day.

Funny you mention Blixa, was with a friend of mine and we randomly ran into him in Cambridge. He was rude as hell for no reason and kept glaring at us. Want to know what happened afterwards? Everyone who went up to say hello to him was really put off by his rudeness, so people kept sending more people over to say hello to him. If looks could kill we all would have all been dead because he has a very nasty stare. Blixa is mid level talent (was lucky to be with Nick Cave), with an a$$hole attitude.

I was going to say something like why the hell would anyone watch Anton cook? It's like Jamie Oliver trying to jam....but I'm watching. I just told my friends I wasn't going to the bar...I'm too busy. Watching this? It's true. It's like watching Jehovah make stew...not that I'm Jewish. It's just....you know. Captivating.

man I missed the past 3 mornings of Dead TV recording and rest and new pedal and rest. Let's see 4 am when i catch it so there it's like 8 am or something like that maybe 10 am. He used to be addicted to heroin and also drink heavily. I dont think he does anymore though, he defiantly doesn't do smack anymore.

I don't know which planet you come from but that's how tomato paste is packaged in Europe (well, it comes in jars as well but that's not half as practical) :D
