Never mind Daggerfall--this brings me back to those nights I used to stay up until after 2 am playing "Civilization IV." They used the first movement of this in the "Industrial Age." Anyone else remember it?
Really wonderful! Thank you Sylwia Anna Janiak! Well conducted! You must be a true feeler - one of the best modern versions so far! The Andante makes me cry every time!
I'm playing this with my university symphony right now and I knew I recognized it from somewhere! Daggerfall is one of the best rpgs of all time alongside morrowind of course
tog hoath Alrighty, not the reply I expected. I was merely making a joke about the choice of words used in this comment. How, instead of complimenting the conductor on her skills. Kate D instead spoke of her gender. There was no malice behind it. Yes, I know my name is stupid. Have been thinking of changing it. I meant no harm in my comment. You’re blowing this way out of proportion.
Wzniosła interpretacja przez wielką orkiestrę. Dyrygent ma wyjątkowy talent łaski i piękna. Gratulacje. Une sublime interprétation par un orchestre de très grande valeur. La chef d’ orchestre est exceptionnelle de talent de grâce et de beauté. Félicitations. Sublime interpretation by a large orchestra. The chef has a unique talent for grace and beauty. Congratulations.
Something I've noticed, is that the original composition and all version of the song have a woodwind section playing the melody at 17:50, however in the Daggerfall video game, it's played by brass
I am not one to spread negativity but to think that I heard some supposed expert on Bach pontificating about how Dvorak was a mediocre composer and Shostakovitch was like Mahler on steroids. The problem with this kind of toxiticy is that is so maligned that it sticks in your brain due to the shock to the system when hearing it. I put it down to some kind of weird racism or nationalism or jealousy perhaps. Probably find the guy didn't like composers towards the eastern part of Europe. Who knows? I don't think there is any Dvorak that I don't find deeply moving.
@@waterkingdavid I agree with you, too. Bach and Dvorak are two of my favorite composers. I like them, in spite of how different they are. (Actually, maybe because of how different they are!)
@@waterkingdavid ikr? Dvorak is so underrated and sometimes he gets bashed on.. he’s just Brahms but opening a new door to classical music… he’s my no. 1 fav composer
Isaac The Batu The games a lot of fun, it gives you so much freedom to do absolutely anything you want. Also, the game is massive. There's about 30 different kingdoms, each one pretty much the size of Skyrim. Great game.
Jebodeiasque Oh fuck man, this is going to be hyper awesome plus my character in skyrim is a breton and I want to know all about High rock, you have hyped me up so hard :D
