Ahh, I love this song. It just has that spanish feel to it. This is one of my personal favourites of Antonio, and you made me love it even more. Great cover, wish I was in that crowd to cheer you on, no one gave you the standing ovation you deserved!
@olegplocins in Korea, people don't really scream in formal situations like this. it's a performance and people need to be respectful. in rock or pop concerts people do scream though
@botchedup76 hi, yes he uses "AlaskaPik" fingerpicks, they are great. when i break a fingernail then i use them. but you have to fit them under your own fingernails. if your fingernails are too short or they don't fit under them, then tape them onto your fingertips. sounds crazy, but it works. success!
This song was not composed by Antonio Banderas. It was composed by Paco Renteria (mexican). So the title of this video should be (Paco Renteria) Cancion del Mariachi - Sungha Jung.
It was made popular by Antonio Banderas. Kind of like Dolly Parton wrote "I Will Always Love You" but it was also made more popular by Whitney Houston, even though they're different versions. The version Sungha is playing is by Soy Martino (I think), not the Renteria version.
The thing is that i love about Sungha, it isn't the way he is looking or anything else. It is more about his guitar skills, he is young but yet he can still play a guitar like he were a professionel. (I do not know about he is one, since i do not play guitar) But i think that Sungha would be a inspiration for all the young players, even if your young you can do something that is amazing.
I also people realize that the guy who wrote this song is Mexican not Spaniard. Also, Antonio Banderas plays a Mexican in the Desperado movie, not a Spaniard
@xXGRAND1 i hope people realize the song is mexican by los lobos antonio banderas just played the song while portraying a mexican in the movie desperado
Sungha, just a piece of advice: when using a classic guitar, you'd better try to mutter your left hand when moving it along the neck, to avoid that string sweeping sound :) You can use "piloshed" strings to help it too :) Beside this, really nice cove :)
