Here's a link for 5 stringed violoncello. Not to be confused with viola tenore. That previous violoncello is played in baritone or bass clef(carry in the part of basso continuo as well) ; while tenore is in tenor clef, considered as a viola. facebook.com/badiarov.violins/videos/1733511533338945/ The so-called "cello" in this video played between thights is traditionally called basso or basso da chiesa. To further confuse, but worth mentioning, there's another slighly bigger in size "cello" called violone which is making a come back as well. Which is usually played on a stool on standing position. Then comes the double bass(contrabasso).
