Can you blame him? Tottenham the team where great coaches who have won things turn into the problem. Get the best manager and Tottenham will turn them into losers.
@SCPython So Poch, Jose and Conte all is not fit for Spurs and the players? Stop protecting the players! Conte can leave but the players are still the same!
Somehow this is true....Spurs change the manager multiple time... It's not lucky that they need... Mgt and the player respond is big factor too... So....😮
Conte is spot on. He basically said; “I’m a winner and I’ve proven that I can win. The players are lazy and selfish because they play for Spurs and at Spurs they have no pressure and mentality of winning so they’re used to this hence why you all protect them and try to blame anyone but the players with the loser mentality.”
Conte is a low key. He wanted a kick and that's why he made the rant. He also blamed all players, but there can't be all who are selfish right ? He basically shame the others who gave their hearts out. He also didnt took single blame for his failure and put it all on players. He also talked bad about club history when he is as brought to change it, not using it as a shied for failure.
Mate he's trying to save his own back. He never takes responsibility. It's his responsibility to ensure the team performs on the pitch. If they don't take responsibility not ever week blame the players.
@G.U it ain't just about the players, conte's tactics are all wrong. He ain't on the field with them but he's not getting the message across in training why does he feel he needs to come into the media and out everyone. Do that in training.
@@CHT1299 Your comment is basically the typical spurs mentaility. Who are you or the players to say that the tactics are wrong? Like how many trophies have spurs won compared to Conte and Mourinho did in other clubs? What have this team achieved with "correct" tactics? Nothing....You need to face the fact that the culture and mentality is the biggest issue here and it has to go from top to bottom
@HaytersTV Yet needing a goal in the UCL and brings on a defender for an attacker, spurs have this weak mentality. But conte has to take some of the blame. No plan B , sticks to the same wing back system and it ain't working.

Irony is; rival fans will think we are annoyed by this, but Conte is literally speaking all of our minds... I'm glad he's said this, to know that what we think will actually get across to Levy, because he will certainly see this video.
No matter what, whether he's saying the right things for the fans and those who wants someone to say it the it is, we don't care the banter is there and we'll dish it out 😂😂😂. He just said what we always say spurs are just but a small club no history whatsoever. And one famous Italian player said it and today another one did the same..."it's the history of the Tottenham"
Completely disagree. Name the players you don't think are taking responsibility. Dier and Perisic are the only one you can come up with today and Perisic was Conte's signing
@@CatchMeOnPort8080 I can't tell you one but a team is made of players and how they threw a 3-1 lead is everyone's responsibility. He (conte) also took part of it and maybe they weren't listening to him at 3-2 and they equalized. He is not saying it coz he wanted to but there's something that he's seen and it's like trend. As per him, he said he tried to cover it but enough is enough let everyone take responsibility from the management to the players.
The perfect separation of owners, managers, players and fans. Antonio lays it out exactly as it is. He's a legend now - these players have no place to hide now, he's laid bare, what he sees day in, day out from his team. His passion, his fire, his desire to win is clear - he's laid down the gauntlet for his players to show their fans that they are willing to fight for them.... I'm betting they take the easy way out and say he's lost the dressing room, the players don't trust him... yade, yade, yada. He's leaving and this was his parting salvo - well done Antonio, respect!!!
Wow this one iconic press conference I have never seen, Antonio spoke from his heart. This is the history of Tottenham, I`m never used to this positions 7th 8th 🥵🤯

Tottenham didn't perform well past few seasons. It's just that arsenal were underperforming. Now they are back and Tottenham are out of the top 4
@Robinson Crusoe it's not just arsenal keeping Tottenham out the top 4. There is a lot of good teams now fighting for top 4. Man utd are back, even Newcastle. Conte tactically plays negative football which doesn't put the team in the best position to win games.
This is what he was hired for his passion and tenacity. He hates to lose and he expects nothing less than leaving everything on the pitch for players that are payed millions to play a child’s game.
No he was brought in for that same reason. He is not just a coach, he is a manager. If he can't manage that situation and get the players firing, get them to be unselfish, then is the biggest failure among them, more of a failure than the players. He wasn't brought for just tactical skills but management skills. And I'm an arsenal fan!

@@Boldupmotivation I disagree man maybe he’s not perfect but the manager can only do so much. The manager is always the first to go but a lot of times it’s not his fault. The back line and the lack of money spent is the problem
I aint no spurs fan but I respect Conte a lot I genuinely believe what makes him the most angry is that he understands people pay hard earned money to support a team and he and all the players make buckets of money because they're expected to get results. Any manager that seems like he genuinely cares about fans is a good guy in my book. He gets it.
lol WHAT? In what possible way is it not HIS fault the team is at it is this far in? Its HIS job to fix the mentality of the players.. maybe do some LEADING and COACHING?>?? he can freeze the selfish ones out to make an example and teach a lesson.. play youngsters in those roles if he has to.. but he refuses (or is unable) to coach and develop youngsters so he cannot do that.. people put this guy on a pedestal because he won some titles but u need to look at how he won them. Usually bought at the least in transfers and occasionally match fixing lol but never through amazing managerial work and coaching. Now he blames his tools as he ALWAYS does.. and this mentality of HIS shines through from the team.. no wonder its falling apart and players going public talking sht about him, because to top all that off he seems like a shitty person as well. Selfish and egotistical
I agree with him but I don't think he's saying it for the good of the club. Conte wants out, I think he knows that this kind of criticism won't go down well with our premadonna players and, most importantly, with Levy. I don't blame Conte for wanting out, we are a shambles, he deserves better than Levy/ENIC but then I don't think he should have taken the job in the first place, he knows what the club is, he knows who Levy is and how he operates, he knew that Levy wouldn't change for him, regardless of whatever promises were made originally. Levy won't change, we need new owners or at least a new chairman.
On Conte's '20 years' point. The 14 managers Tottenham have had since 2003 have between them, won the following: France Division 1 2001 Coupe de la League 2001 KNVB Cup x2 Egyptian Premier League 2016 Copa del Rey 2007 Supercopa de Espana 2007 Uefa Cup 2006, 2007 Uefa Super Cup 2006 Intertoto Cup 1999 FA Cup 2008 Portuguese Primera Liga 2011 Taca de Portugal 2011 Supertaca Candido de Oliveira 2010 Uefa Europa League 2011 Russian Premier League 2015 Russian Cup 2016 Russian Super Cup 2015 Ligue 1 2022 Coupe de France 2021 Trophee des Champions 2020 Primera Liga (Portugal) 2003, 2004 Taca de Portugal 2003 Supertaca Candido de Oliveira 2003 Champions League 2004 UEFA Cup 2003 Premier League 2005, 2006, 2015 FA Cup 2007 League Cup 2005, 2007, 2015 Community Shield 2005 Serie A 2009, 2010 Coppa Italia 2010 Supercoppa Italiana 2008 Champions League 2010 La Liga 2012 Copa del Rey 2011 Supercopa de Espana 2012 EFL Cup 2017 community Shield 2016 Europa League 2017 Uefa Conference League 2022 Saudi Super Cup 2022 Serie A 2012, 2014, 2014 Supercoppa Italiana 2012, 2013 Premier League 2017 FA Cup 2018 Serie A 2021 And yet with Tottenham, between them, all of those managers have managed to win: League cup 2008 Suggests to me that the problem isn't the bloke in the dugout.
Levy is the only common denominator. He's an ego maniac. Any other club he'd be out. Any other industry he'd be out. Sacking Jose before a final says it all.

Finally a manager speaking truth. It’s amazing how the media and fans act as if the players are not to blame for such performances. And I don’t just mean at spurs I just mean in general. People act as if the manager is sat on the sideline playing fifa and can control every single thing. His job is to prepare the players but it’s the players jobs to go out and actually perform. Yet time and time again we see the manager get the sack and the players just carry on getting paid 100s of thousands a pounds a week without a care in the world. Fair play Antonio 👏
Why should the players respond? The higher ups are scumbags. Kane wanted to leave, they forced him to stay. When your boss is a pathetic human being, you're never going to give your 100%. Pretty much everyone responds like that in the situation. I'm sure other players would also have their stories.
@@siddharthrox I’m not going to try and defend Levy , I think he’s held spurs back for years . But again, the players have a responsibility to perform regardless of Levy. Mourinho said, "same manager different players after the Europa league loss." He was referring to the bad attitude of the players, and Antonio echoed the sentiment. These players should look at themselves in the mirror. In the All or Nothing documentary, Mourinho called a session where he bashed the players for not playing as a team and fighting for one another after the Chelsea defeat at Stamford Bridge. I support Conte on this. Changing managers is a short-term fix. The clubs must invest massively in buying big players with passion and hunger for the game. This is the only way to change the culture. Why is it that Tottenham is the only club that Mourinho did not win a trophy with? I rest my case.
As a Juve fan, Conte showed fire in every single game until the last second, I can see why he expects this from his own players, nothing more, nothing less, no excuses. Great speech.

@Özal they will. They just need to get the right manager then their fortunes will change. Podhettino would need time but would at least have the team playing attacking football until we start getting results. It's totally contes fault. He's a coward.
This is going to be a classic premier league rant for decades to be shown. I really appreciate Conte for calling out the players. What he’s saying applies to every club, where they have players like the spurs players (I’m thinking of Liverpool, my club) who aren’t playing at the levels they should be. Calling out that they aren’t playing for the badge, they are paid a lot of money and they should be playing for the fans the privilege of playing for a top club. Accurate assessment of Spurs under Levy. Speaking the truth that we all gave known for decades as Spurs fans. Conte's not my choice of manager, but I see he's had enough of taking all the blame. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Something will now but...whether it's the change we need? I really hope so, but I'm used to being underwhelmed and disappointed.
