Antonio meets Michael Vincent and Tim Sutton

Last week I was in London on holiday along with Jessica and her family. I finally got a chance to meet my good friend Michael Vincent and to know Tim Sutton, another great magician. A videocamera was there also, so...well, you guessed it! :-)

La settimana scorsa sono stato in vacanza a Londra con la mia ragazza Jessica e la sua famiglia. Ho finalmente avuto la possibilità di incontrare il mio grande amico Michael Vincent e di conoscere Tim Sutton, un altro eccellente prestigiatore. C'era anche una videocamera lì con noi e quindi...beh, avete indovinato! :-)

The Seminar was just great, it was such a blast. All the people attending the Seminar were just great, I had a lot of fun. Both Michael and Darwin taught us an effect, but what was also very important for me was working on other aspects of magic (like true self-expression), which Michael and Charlene Collins brilliantly addressed during their conversations with us. Darwin was the icing on the cake: an amazing performer and a true gentleman.

Most of his videos have no dislikes. One reason is he is so likable and so talented yet humble. A superb sleight of hand artist and a wizard card handler. His years of dedication has for sure paid off. And at 10:00 I went crazy lol.

It's called "The Vincent Production" (a.k.a. "Jessica's Ladies"). It's explained on Michael's latest set of DVDs "The Quest For Mastery". :-)

Michael Vincent in my opinion is one of the top 5 greatest card technicians in the world, along with Lennart Green, Darwin Ortiz, Dani DaOrtiz, and Rich ferguson. Of course there are other great card technicians. These are just my favorite.

@Shakutau I can understand what you mean. Mike and I've been friends for 5-6 years now. It was the very first time I met him in person. We had lunch at McDonald's because my budget for the journey in London wasn't very high. Anyway, he's a true gentleman and a good friend. I wish you to meet him soon, too!

Si chiama "The Pristine Collectors". E' una versione di Michael del classico "Collectors" di Roy Walton. Che io sappia, è spiegata solo nel volumetto "Close-up Classics" scritto dallo stesso Michael, in vendita sul suo sito.

@Shakutau It's based on Larry Jennings' "The Jennings Production". It utilizes ideas by both Randy Wakeman and Michael himself. I think that starting from the original Jennings effect is the way to go.

the difference between vincent and other magicians is that vincent handling is crystal clean. you think everything is happening the way it looks but outcome is totally surprising

Sicuramente la prima versione nasce da un idea di Jennings ma il gioco fatto da M.Vincent e identico a "Star"pubblicato anni fa su magicana in Genii e prima ancora in HIt road...dvd di Lee Asher P.Wilson.Volevo solo dare a Cesare quello che é di Cesare(il compianto B.Cervon)

Secondo me non è identico: la "coreografia" delle mani è diversa. Su RU-vid c'è il video dell'effetto di Cervon: watch?v=iu0iuVRua5s (Incollalo dopo il .com negli indirizzi. Ho dovuto scriverlo altrimenti RU-vid non mi faceva postare il commento). Ad ogni modo, certo, si può tranquillamente includere il suo nome nella categoria di questo tipo di effetto. :-)

He did actually fool them.... he just didn’t tell them he did and gave them respect ...... I personally find it annoying that he didn’t tell them he Fooled them....
